The golden characters shine in the air, merging into Monkey’s very being. From this moment, he is no longer a nameless creature, but one whose destiny is tied to Heaven, Earth, and the great Way.

The Master reminds him:
Cultivation is not only about power — it is about awakening the heart’s square inch, where wisdom is born. The poem speaks of stillness and transformation, of nature beyond ego, of vows kept through countless trials.

Thus begins Wukong’s true path — armed with skills, yes, but more importantly, with a name and an identity rooted in truth.
