In 2021 I became a software engineer. It was my dream job. I was working in a really big company in London, everyone thought I was successful.
But then, something changed: I realised this “good salary” wasn’t even that high when costs were rising everywhere, taxes were eating a big part of my pay and while the job was MUCH better and gave me MUCH more freedom than any other job I had worked - I wasn’t able to live my dream life and be completely free.
So I actually ended up quitting that job after only a few months, because I found a much better way to use my coding skills to my advantage.
