Took part in the two-week CNN Academy x University College Dublin(UCD) Clinton Institute Journalism Summer School in Dublin. The first week of the two-week training saw us learn about ‘Reporting in the age of AI’, while the second week was the first-ever Reporting Simulation held in Europe.
It was intensive learning from the best and reenacting real-life scenarios in the world in a safe environment.
In 2023, I was selected as one of the 15 participants in the CNN Global South Climate Storytelling Programme by CNN Academy, sponsored by the Rockefeller Foundation. I produced and directed a video documentary on Desertification and its impacts on food insecurity, women and girls, and youth, among other key areas. Travelling to some of the most remote parts of Nigeria’s desert regions.
