Rain Walk in Mount Daisen Forest | Tottori, Japan Nature

Walking in the rain through lush forest on the slope of Mt. Daisen in Tottori, Japan. The stairs at the start of the trail pass through a beautiful forest with a few small temples and shrines, including Daisenji Amidado, before heading up to the summit. I have hiked to the top before, and I wish I had come prepared to go further today, but with the rain I had just planned for a few loops on the mid slope of the mountain to enjoy the rainy forest atmosphere. From Amidado I walked along the "Warrior Monk Path" and crossed a stream (while keeping an eye out for flooding) to Daisen Temple. This is a beautiful mountain and forest, I hope you enjoy this walk in the rain.
