You know, we we come down here and
tonight we got a pig and we got some
brisket. We're going for breakfast for
everybody. So, the brisket needs to be
on by 9:00. So, we got that cooking so
we can have breakfast ready at 7:00 for
everybody that's out here on the street.
They don't open the lot till 1:30, but
that's not going to stop us from having
a good time. You know, we got down here
8:00. We cracked the beer, you know,
going for 24 hours here. And, you know,
we're just we're just enjoying it.
They're playing, you know, the fight
song, getting ready and testing
everything. And, you know, it's a
beautiful night and it's like it's
looking for kickoff tomorrow night. It's
great. So I for about 10 years now I've
been doing a pig for the home opener. So
you know we get out here you know early
ahead of time but you know two of those
years it's been a Thursday night game
which is a little rougher a little
harder to you know do stuff and you got
to get out here a little earlier
sometimes night before. So you know
we're getting out here night before
it'll go on about 12:00 cook for about
16 and 1 half 17 hours and then it'll
come off and we're going to serve it on
some amarosa rolls with some broccoli
rob and some uh you know a proolone
cheese. It's going to be delicious.
better way to open up a, you know,
championship tour than against the
Dallas Cowboys. And Gerald Jones has
just, you know, messed up his his team,
you know, beyond repair at this point.
And, you know, he's he's the best thing
we got going for us. It's great watching
him just fumble the ball. And I like I
love watching Jerry do what he does.
Just keep long live Jerry, man. He's
he's he's the reason that that Dallas
just can't can't do anything lately. So,
you know, I mean, obviously they're
going to come in here, they're going to
have a chip on their shoulder and
they're going to try to, you know, prove
that they're the best, you know, and
that's what we're going to get all
season is the best from every team. And
so, we just got to bring our best and be
ready for it. We're going to win some,
we're going to lose some, but the end of
the day, I think we'll be back at the
Super Bowl and I think we can bring it
home for round two.
Oh man, this is like Katy Land. This is
a a trifecta. We have the Cowboys home
opener and we get to drop a banner on
Gerald. Like, can't go wrong with that.
My tailgate partner is doing the pig and
our pig's name is uh Gerald Hodfather
Jones. So, you know what I mean? It's
It's I'm really looking forward to
seeing our offense put up a lot of
points and defense just like beat him
