TRAPPING GIANT PIRANHAS in My POND!

Look at those eyes of this freaking fish trap. They're darting around the whole bank. They're going nuts. What's that big thing? That's a snake head. There's big fish in there. There's big fish in there. No way. Oh my god. What is that? This is the fattest. You thought the others were butter balls. They were like the size of my hand now They're the size of my head What's up BFB nation welcome back to another awesome video guys today as you can tell behind me We're at pond X the famous pond X guys. You haven't seen it in a while It's been a while since we've made a video here It's been a while since I've even been here just because this pond itself is not on my property But I know the people who live here I have full access full permission to do whatever I want with this enclosed pond and for about five years now I've been stocking this pond with tons of different species of fish We've recently had Oscars breed in here bass breed in here Viejas cichlids breed in here Also recently, we've released seven paku seven red-bellied paku actually when we put them in here I think they were this big and now I think they've gotten a lot bigger We're gonna try and feed them here in a little bit But yeah, it's gonna be back at pond X as you can tell the water is a lot higher now Just cuz that hurricane all that rain the ponds looking really. Oh my god. What was that? I think that might have been the snake. Hey guys, that might have been what we're doing here today today We're trying to get rid of some snake heads that got in here a long time ago ever since then I've been trying to get Them out because they're invasive. I don't want them in here. And yeah, they are very smart in here I cannot catch them with hook and line. They know I'm trying to and they're just too quick for a cast net So what my game plan is today? I thought it would be fun to make a fish trap because a fish trap actually worked I made actually didn't even make it It was just a rodent trap and I caught a snake out of here and today I think I'm gonna try and make like the biggest fish trap Possible for these snake heads to try and see if I can get some out I think there's like three or four left in here. But yeah, who knows what else we're gonna catch We're gonna make a giant fish trap and place it in here It's gonna be cool to see what we get here in pond X. But uh, look dude, there's giant fish everywhere I'm gonna see if any fish come up, you know just to see but yeah One just rolled on it. I think they see us. Oh the Oscar Come on come up. I want to see it. We haven't fed them in like a while. So maybe they're a little skittish They're not that trained right now There we go, there we go, oh, oh they hear us look at look how big that wake is you guys Do those things are frickin whales, can you see him is everywhere? Oh My gosh guys, we got a polarized lens over the camera. Oh, there they are. Oh, you can see him nice now. They're massive, bro There's the Oscars too. I see Oscars. I Love this so much. Oh They're getting so big look at them. Oh There's another one, there's the fourth there's four right there. Oh, there's another one. There's five here they come you guys Can you see these guys look at them? They're darting around the whole bank. They're going nuts. Oh What's that big dick that's a snake There's a snake on there fatten them up today boys. Yeah guys. Look how beautiful pond X is take a little Look how nice it looks guys as you can tell those Paco I've gotten massive those things are like bigger than my head now It's insane. Those are some Oscars there, too. Who knows we might catch some of those in the trap This pond is Self-sustaining guys. So even though I haven't been here in like over a month or two on this pond all the fish are eating They're getting bigger just because there's a huge healthy population of mosquito fish bluegills little bait fish And it's just the perfect little ecosystem that I've built here But right now guys, we're gonna head to Home Depot and I'm gonna try and construct something I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to that But yeah, hopefully I can make something happen and make a huge fish trap today So I'm gonna go to Home Depot right now And the next time you see me, I'm gonna have the biggest fish trap you have ever seen. See you guys then Okay, guys. Well Look at those eyes with a freaking fish trap. This actually did not take too long to make and it actually looks really good I think it's actually gonna work. It took me about an hour and an hour half But I went to Home Depot. I found this giant tube It's like a big plastic tube. And what I did was I got some little like plastic fencing. I zip tied it to it And on this side, this is the end. Okay, so this is just flat. They can't get out here. They can't get in This is just a backboard but on this side check it out Ready, look at this. Are you ready for this? This is a trap door. Look at that. The fish can go in We're gonna put some bait in there They're gonna smell that bait and they're gonna push their way into the trap I might make it a little bit bigger here just so we can fit some bigger fish in there But yeah, that's how it works. They can go in and then they can't get out because it's like a little trapdoor thing I'm pretty proud of it. You know knowing that I'm not that big of a handyman. I'm pretty proud of this I don't even know if it's gonna float actually, let's go test it No, oh my god Okay, no when there's pot going here I don't want them to bite my toes off so this is kind of scary but Let's see if it. Oh, I think I need to It's not gonna sink. What is going on here? Okay, guys. Well little did I know this material this tube I tried to put it on and it was just floating and I was freaking out I was like, oh my god, how am I gonna make the fish trap now? It's a floater and then I found this this little PVC pipe and it was like the perfect size So I'm like wedged it in there. And yeah, the little trap trapdoor thing is on this side. It's below water now So it's not floating fish are able to go in there now So all we're missing now is the bait and we're gonna load this trap up with some bait. Look at that, dude It looks really good there though. Oh, yeah, I guess the perfect spot a lot of fish hang around What do you think we're gonna catch? Huh? What do you think we're gonna catch dude? Hoping we catch a snake head because we always see a snake head over here and Hopefully we're gonna outsmart them today and dude, I'm praying we get one. That'll be insane. Check it out We have a whole pack of hot dogs and that's a lot be a play. Let's get them in the trap I don't know guys comment down below how I would make this trap sink But I mean it works out here for this spot because that pipe is like a perfect place this wedge it into we're gonna get some floppy we're gonna Put it into a two one in there Second one now, we'll do the hot dogs. Can you see in the water at all? Uh, Kinda, let's see if we can get the pocket to come over here. Oh I just saw Dude this is like guaranteed fish because these fish are like so training here. Look, those are all the paku dude You're gonna catch the whole school. Oh my god. Imagine that I wouldn't doubt it. That would be insane We're gonna catch something for sure. Okay now I'm excited. Don't talk who's eat testicles these You better um, I haven't been here in like a month or two and they're this train ready. Oh my god That was so clear ready Boom next thing is, you know, the Oscars the Viejas all that stuff. This is so fun. I can do this all day Guys can see this pocket. Look at that. I did boom how big they've gotten Guys, I'm a roll clip right now when we first put them in here a couple months ago Those things were probably like maybe this big and now they are this big we get one more hot dog in the trap Dude they're gonna smell this and they're gonna find a way in here. I guarantee this traps gonna work. All right Well guys good to be back at pond X some crazy stuff happening here. The paku are so cool We're gonna give this trap like an hour an hour and a half Right when it's starting to get dark when I come back here and we're gonna hopefully have a snake it in here This is really cool guys. She's still there Sinking I just thought I just saw like a week a week. Something was up against it. Ready? What if I stick my hand in there? I don't think you should Fish right there. Oh big fish. I think it was a paku. Holy crap. Okay, but Fish are like everywhere around this trap. I'm gonna stick my hand in see if I can get Something trying to get out it was a hot dog Okay, the hot dog out. Okay, why don't you get devoured? Oh wait. Yeah, where does it go? Well, I see it down there spot. Wait, let me try to grab another hot dog Oh, I got it. I got a tilapia fillet ready before we check the trap guys We're gonna see if the fish or some if no fish come up, you know what that means. They're in the trap I'm not seeing anything yet. Oh Something just grab that one. I think Not a whole lot of action though. Hey, I'm flared up again. Yeah, let's see if they come up I'm not seeing anything dude. You know what that means. All the fish are in the trap 100% Alright, you know what? Let's go for it My hand in one more time I say you pick up the truck. All right, let's do it I'm just gonna pick it up guys. Here we go I don't know how I'm supposed to get it out because it's like wedged wedged in there any There we go Whoa, is that a fish? I don't know. It sounded like one No way I almost got it I Ready here we go guys. Oh my gosh. I say you dump the water that way. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. I'm nervous Wait, let's take a look at it though. Oh My god What is that we got tons of fish what is that what the heck There's a lot of fish in here My god That's a butterball look how fat that thing is, okay, Brandon, can you get some water in the bucket real quick? More there's a bass. Oh my god. Look at that. Look at the size of them guys. They've gotten so big All right, we're gonna put it in here temporarily I'm trying I got him. This one's huge. Holy crap, dude. They've gotten so big. Oh, we're going out the other way. Oh I need to turn him around. Look at this thing. Oh, he's so fat Well, I've never seen a parku that fat in here beautiful red belly parku. Look at the teeth on them I saw bass and one more taco. I think oh, yeah the bass Come here. I see. Oh my this thing's pregnant. This is the fattest. You thought the others were butterballs. Oh my god I'm like a side angle. Oh That thing is freaking insanely big. All right, and there's one more fish in here. It's a bath Oh my gosh, finally, oh, yeah Yeah, you go ahead release the bass and bluegill that actually looks like a brandy baby Here goes the bass. Oh, yeah, that looks like a brandy baby because it's not one of the big ones we put in here I think that's one of the babies that got big. All right guys moment of truth to show you these freaking piranhas again Oh my gosh, we didn't oh my gosh. I think the parku just ate the bluegill. Oh my god guys We didn't get a snakehead. Sadly, I guess we'll have to come back and try again, but we did Get a good look at our monster freaking parku that we just put in here a few months ago They were like the size of my hand now. They're the size of my head. Look at that. That's insane We're gonna let this one go. See you buddy. Maybe next time we catch them. They're gonna be like 20 pounds. Look at this one That's the fatty How we haven't even been feeding them bro, see you guys There's a few people that I've been in the comments being like why do you never feed the fish in pond X, you know? They're starving. Does this thing look like it's starving? Absolutely, not. We're gonna let them go. It's a way we know what they're eating dude. There's just like so much Frogs, there's just so much stuff for them to eat. All right, we got one more in here, too That's insane. We cut three parku Look at that. Look how beautiful that red is guys beautiful red belly parku. Whoa Was not expecting that we're gonna let these guys go let them get even bigger here in pond X I was trying to get a snakehead. But hey, I'll take it. We just got a nice little look At the parku a little parku update for you guys, I guess but yeah, the trap worked We need to adjust it a little more I say maybe have like a big Thing here we unzip zip a zip tie like that and the whole thing comes out so we can just grab them easily Or it splits in half. Yeah, and we also oh, yeah, like it splits in half That would be cool.
