Kamala Harris to get security protection from California troopers.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris will receive security protection from the California Highway Patrol after her Secret Service detail was revoked by President Donald Trump last week. Before leaving office, former President Joe Biden signed an order to extend Harris' protection beyond the usual six months typically allotted to former vice presidents. California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass have reportedly arranged to provide dignitary protection for Harris.
