On August 20, 2025, severe mudslides and floods struck multiple regions in China, including Yunnan, Gansu, and Inner Mongolia. Thousands of villagers were affected, with roads washed away, homes destroyed, and emergency response struggling to reach isolated areas.
In Yunnan, Tuanjie Village and Enyong Village were heavily impacted, with many residents trapped on rooftops as mudslides tore through early in the morning. Official reports claim a few fatalities, but eyewitnesses suggest the real toll may be much higher.
