Grand Canyon's Grandview Trail Hike

View the awesomeness of the Grand Canyon as we descend into its depths on the Grandview Trail, first to Horseshoe Mesa and then down to hike the Tonto Plateau and Cottonwood Creek. I talk briefly about the many ways that people perish here and to not underestimate this place, its heat and drastic inclines. There are the remnants of old mining equipment and an old house, pretty rocks, a baby rattlesnake, buzzing cicadas, lizards, and more. It becomes a race against darkness to make it back to the top on this 14-mile day hike. Along the way, I help a woman who's sick due to dehydration.
