Exploring Silver City’s Ghost Town | Camping & Historic Idaho Hotel Bar

We camped in Silver City, Idaho, a preserved 1800s mining town in the Owyhee Mountains. After setting up by the creek, we walked the historic streets, passing old cabins and shops, and stopped at the famous Idaho Hotel bar for a drink—soaking in the frontier charm without going into the guest rooms. The day wrapped with a quiet campfire and a sky full of stars.
