SpaceX Finally Full Stacked Starship for Flight 10 Launch in Hours! Critical Moments Coming…
SpaceX has fully stacked Starship for launch in just a few hours. Are you ready?
At the same time, the company has successfully launched the latest X-37B mission for the U.S. military and is now preparing for its next Cargo Dragon flight, which could include some intriguing objectives.
Let’s dive into all of it on today’s episode of Great SpaceX.
We are now closer than ever to Flight 10, everyone.
In our previous update, we saw Booster 16 rolled to the Launch Pad and placed onto the Orbital Launch Mount. With that step complete, attention now shifts to Ship 37.
This vehicle completed its test campaign and returned to the Production Site on the morning of August 14. In a surprisingly short span of about one week, SpaceX managed to complete its final checks. That brings us to the present moment, when Ship 37 is set to move to the Launch Pad. At the time of this recording, the roll had not yet happened, but by the time you are watching, the move may already be complete.

Before the rollout, a few interesting developments took place. On the afternoon of August 22, the doors of Mega Bay 2 opened, revealing Ship 37 standing in the center, already placed on its transport stand. This was a clear sign that the checks were complete. Soon after, the payload door of Ship 37 opened to receive its Starlink payload, which had been rolled to Mega Bay 2 but later returned to the Starfactory earlier this month. According to updates from SpaceX, this payload will include eight Starlink simulators. At the same time, the Flight Termination System was not visibly installed, but it is possible that the installation had already been completed during the Mega Bay closure.

With these preparations finalized, Ship 37 is ready for its move. Road closures were confirmed for August 23 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., matching earlier predictions. Once it reaches the Launch Pad, Ship 37 is expected to be lifted immediately and stacked atop Booster 16. In anticipation of this step, scaffolding at the Orbital Launch Mount has already been removed. Soon, we will once again see the world’s largest rocket standing in its full height, ready for liftoff. That is a sight worthy of a “wow.”
This means SpaceX is essentially in its final countdown. With full stacking imminent, only a few hours will remain before flight. If all remains on schedule, liftoff is set for Sunday afternoon at 6:30 p.m. CST. That timing allows for a rare opportunity to witness both the Super Heavy landing after roughly seven minutes and the Ship landing after just over one hour, all in broad daylight. This will make the entire mission easier to observe, more visually striking, and much more informative for analysis.
