A 500-year-old Taoist temple in Dashan, Chongqing, where Lao Tzu once practiced

Today we visited Baiyun Temple in Qijiang District, Chongqing. The temple is more than 1,100 meters above sea level, with towering peaks and steep cliffs. It is one of the three most famous Taoist holy places in Southwest China. It is said that this is where Laozi practiced. Baiyun Temple was first built during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty and was very popular.
