3 Days Solo Hiking - Ronnie Goes Into The Wild 🇮🇳

It's been many years since i wanted to get up to the intimidating yet surreal Lake of Raja Ghepan AKA Aliyas Lake. This year Barty and i decided to go chasing our own personal goals and Ghepan Lake in Lahaul Valley is my first such project. I wanted to test myself and go beyond my comfort zone . After a Reece day where i completed the entire 24km hike in 9 hours i decided that i would shoot this trek to bring it closer to the world.

So here i am all alone 3 days in the wild highlands of Lahaul. In absolute solitude and probably the happiest i've ever been. No voices no notifications no distractions, just the sound of breath, boots and wind. Many believe visiting the lake is equivalent to a pilgrimage, and must be done with respect and humility.

i've learned not to romanticize suffering. Pushing yourself doesn't mean punishing yourself. there's a fine line between bravery and arrogance. Out here the wild rewards respect - not pride . I hike solo i take risks. But they are carefully calculated and intentional. You dont bite off more than your soul can chew. Because out here, your life depends on listening - to the terrain, to your boots, to your limits.
