Do you ever feel as though you are carrying the weight of a past that no longer truly
exists?
As if old wounds and heavy emotions are subtle anchors, holding you back from the peace,
the joy and the spiritual growth your soul deeply longs for?
If so, I want you to know you are not alone, and that your desire for freedom is the first
step toward healing.
Welcome to Pure Mind Think.
I'm Pure Mind.
Today, we will gently and lovingly explore the sacred art of letting go.
But before we begin this tender conversation, it is absolutely vital for me to state with
clarity and care.
This video is a spiritual perspective on healing and is not a substitute for professional therapy.
If you are dealing with significant or complex trauma, the support and guidance of a licensed,
trauma-informed therapist is an invaluable resource.
Please, always put your emotional and psychological safety first.
This space is an invitation, not a treatment.
If you're ready to explore this topic with gentleness, I invite you to subscribe.
Let this be a sanctuary for your healing journey.
The first and most courageous step in letting go is not to push the pain away, but to turn
toward it with loving acknowledgement.
So often, our emotional blockages are parts of us that became frozen in time to protect
us during a difficult experience.
They are not our enemies.
They are our loyal protectors, stuck in a past moment.
Our work is not to banish them, but to meet them with the compassion they never received.
I invite you, if it feels safe, to place a gentle hand over your heart.
Take a slow, deep breath.
And in the quiet of your own mind, you might simply say, I see you.
I know you're there.
I know you're holding so much pain for me.
Thank you for trying to protect me for so long.
It is safe now.
I am here with you.
This is not about condoning what happened.
It is a radical act of self-compassion.
It is telling the wounded parts of yourself that they are no longer alone.
By acknowledging the pain without judgment, you stop fighting with yourself.
And this cessation of inner war is the beginning of all true healing.
You are creating a safe, internal space, where the frozen energy can finally begin to thaw.
So how do we begin to approach these wounded parts of ourselves?
Not with any force, but with profound and radical compassion?
The second step is to understand that these emotions are not just ideas or memories.
They are held within the very tissues of our bodies.
Your body is a wise and sacred library of your life's experiences.
And it holds emotions that the mind may have long forgotten.
This is the wisdom of somatic healing.
So, I invite you now to a practice of gentle, nonjudgmental awareness.
As you continue to breathe slowly and deeply, just allow your attention to scan through
your body.
You don't need to look for anything in particular.
Just notice.
Is there a tightness in your throat?
A heaviness in your chest?
A knot in your stomach?
A tension in your shoulders?
Whatever you find, your only job is to notice it with curiosity and without a story.
You don't need to analyze why it's there.
Simply bring your awareness to the physical sensation itself.
Breathe into that space.
Imagine your breath as a warm, golden light, surrounding this area with pure, loving attention.
This practice gently shifts you from being stuck in a potentially re-traumatizing mental
loop to being present with a tangible, physical sensation.
And what is present and physical can be moved.
It can be released.
You are learning to listen to the wisdom of your body, the keeper of your truth.
If these deep emotions are more than just thoughts, where in our physical bodies might
they be patiently waiting for our attention?
This brings us to our most powerful and accessible tool for release, the sacred breath.
Your breath is the bridge between your body and your spirit, the tangible current of life
force energy.
We can use it with gentle intention to encourage the release of what is old and heavy.
Let's try a simple practice together.
On your next inhale, imagine you are breathing in pure, divine light.
A light of safety, peace, and unconditional love.
Feel it filling your lungs, your heart, your entire being.
And now, on the exhale, I want you to gently and lovingly give the heavy sensation in your
body permission to leave.
You are not forcing it out.
You are simply opening the door.
Imagine your exhale is a gentle, flowing river.
And it is carrying away anything that is ready to be released, any old pain, any sadness,
any fear that no longer serves you.
Inhale divine love and exhale, release and let go.
Continue this for a few rounds.
With each breath, you are affirming to your body and your soul that it is safe to let
go.
You are creating a gentle rhythm of release, powered not by force, but by the grace of
your own life force.
This is a practice you can return to anytime you feel overwhelmed.
Your breath is your anchor and your liberator.
With this gentle awareness, what is the simplest, most powerful tool we all have for
encouraging this energy to release?
To deepen this process, we can use the fourth step.
Creating a Sacred Ritual of Release.
Rituals are powerful acts of intention that send a clear message to your subconscious
mind that you are serious about letting go.
It's a way to make the inner shift tangible in the outer world.
There are many simple rituals you can create.
One powerful practice is to take a piece of paper and write down everything you are ready
to release.
Don't hold back.
Pour the pain, the anger, the grief onto the page.
When you are finished, you can then safely burn the paper.
Watching the smoke carry the old energy up to the heavens to be transmuted.
Or, you could tear the paper into tiny pieces and let the wind scatter them.
Another beautiful ritual is to find a stone.
Hold it in your hand and consciously pour all the heavy emotions you wish to release
into the stone.
Cry into it.
Speak to it.
When you feel you are done, take that stone to a river or the ocean and release it into
the water.
Trusting the water to cleanse and carry away the pain.
These are not just symbolic acts they are powerful declarations to the universe.
And to your own soul that you are choosing freedom.
You are an active participant in your own healing.
How can we create a sacred, tangible act that signals to our deepest self.
That we are now truly and finally letting go?
Finally, after any act of release.
It is vital to fill the space you have created with grace.
Nature abhors a vacuum.
When you let go of old, heavy energy, you create an open space within you.
It is essential to consciously fill that space with light, love, and peace.
After your ritual, or after your breathing practice.
Take a few moments to sit in stillness.
I invite you to visualize a beautiful, golden white light.
Pouring down from the heavens, from the heart of the creator.
See it flowing in through the crown of your head.
Filling every part of your body where the old pain used to reside.
Feel its warmth, its peace, its unconditional love.
Let this divine light fill you.
Completely, recalibrating your cells to a new frequency of peace and whole ability.
This final step is crucial.
It seals your healing work with an energy of blessing.
And prevents old patterns from returning to the empty space.
You are not just emptying yourself of pain.
You are filling yourself with God.
Remember, this journey of letting go is not a one-time event.
It is a spiral path of patience and profound self-compassion.
Be gentle with yourself.
You are healing lifetimes.
