During a private reading with Theresa, a couple is surprised when the message from the other side is actually meant for their son
Hi! I'm Teresa.
My name is Dan.
My name is Helen from Copeg, New York.
We're having a private reading with Teresa.
We want to hopefully talk to our son.
I just want to hear from Alex, just something, to hold on to something.
I see you live right on the canal.
Yes.
How beautiful is that?
Can you come in the back?
Sure.
The best.
Absolutely, if I would have known I would have brought my sunblock.
A reading for Helen and Dan.
What I've learned as being a medium is that spirit will talk about people here in the physical world.
So don't be surprised if they bring up and talk about...
I can't even do this.
I can't even get through my speech.
I said I want you to talk about things that happened after they left the physical world,
and I heard, well, I'm newly passed.
Who was the young male that's departed?
Hey, Alex.
My son.
Because he had me write young male and son.
Is he one of three children?
Yes.
And has he passed within two months?
Yes.
Please know that this is your son's way of acknowledging,
not only can you believe that I am here,
but not only can you still believe and understand or conceive the fact that your son's gone.
Oh, my God, he was just, he was a good, good, a good person.
He was a good person.
Your son is telling me that he passed sudden, unexpected, and it was tragic.
He also told me that people left him.
So was he with people when he died?
My son, Alex, passed away from just partying way too much.
And he never woke up.
And what Teresa said is they kind of left him there.
That was what happened.
They did drag him in and leave him there.
And they left him there for 12 hours by himself.
He told me his brother is, not that you're not, but his brother is very angry.
You can come over if you'd like.
Your brother already called you out that it was important that you come.
I honestly, I didn't even expect to even get called in because it was really about my parents today.
When Teresa called Daniel over, we felt great, you know,
because we see how much he's hurting and we wanted him to be eased.
You know, we were hoping that Alex would come through for him.
He wants to talk about his shoes.
You have his sneakers?
Yeah, I wore them to work, yeah.
Perfect. So please know that when you wore the sneakers, your brother was with you at that exact moment.
Oh my God.
Do you have his iPod or something?
Yeah, an iPod.
It was funny that it didn't work for years and years.
And now it works.
And I found it the other day because I needed it to go to the gym.
And it works.
I was sitting in the middle about mediums.
Like if, you know, if it's real, if it's, you know, what anyone would think.
You know, but for her to know something like that, it was impossible.
Your brother is just acknowledging he knows what you're going through.
And he says, I want to try to help you.
I felt upset about why, you know, why it happened.
You know, because it's so, so tough for losing him.
I feel like you lost a part of your soul the day your brother died.
You're right.
I can't even put in words or describe how much I miss my brother.
I lost my best friend. I lost my brother. I lost everything.
It's just heartbreaking.
I'm just going to bring this up that he just, he doesn't want you to self-medicate yourself.
I've been going through such a tough time that, you know, it's just, I don't know what else to do.
I almost don't want to be happy. I want to be depressed.
He's wanting to do drastic things not to live.
You know, he thought it would be him, that it wouldn't be his brother.
He says, it was almost like I do one crazy, stupid thing and I died.
I did that a million nights, but he didn't, and I'm still here.
Yeah, but you have to understand, that's why you have survivor's guilt.
Yeah, it's just sad that he didn't get a second chance.
Because it wasn't his soul's journey.
I find a lot of guilt with myself.
I messed up for a long time, you know, I messed up now, you know, it's been a month or two straight.
It's just that you finally come to a point where you just say to yourself,
I can't, I can't, you know, disgrace his name like that by me going out and doing stupid things
where my family could possibly lose another son.
He says, I take responsibility for placing myself in this situation. Do you understand that?
Yeah.
He says, I will not have that on my soul, that you carry this burden of guilt.
He says, I take responsibility.
Alright, you know what, I'm done. I can't do this anymore.
Alex, I'm done. Please, I can't, I can't.
When the swans flew by, that spirit, you know, it's for you.
I am going to say, this was all about you.
Yeah.
You know, as parents, we were hoping this was going to help Daniel, especially.
We feel for him. We know how close he was to his brother.
Thank you so much.
Very welcome.
Thank you.
Good luck to you.
There was some weight lifted off my shoulder.
Bye.
I feel a lot more relieved for my parents and also for myself.
And I'm actually in a better mood right now.
Somebody's mom died.
Not that I know of.
See, my name is Teresa.
And I'm a medium, which means that I'm able to connect with people that have crossed over.
There is someone that lost their mother or someone that was like a mother to them.
And there was something about the brain or aneurysm where she wasn't able to communicate in the end.
That was you?
Yes.
That was me.
She taught you what you know, is that correct?
She was my boss. I do color.
She taught me.
I had a boss. She was like a second mother to me.
And she died of a brain tumor in three months really quick.
And by the end of it, she just was like, she couldn't communicate.
She didn't even know her own name.
You came and saw her.
Even though it might not have been every single day to her, she made me feel the emotion that you were there.
So she wants to thank you for that.
She wants you to know that she knew that you were there.
You would never go to a medium, right?
No.
So she had to send the medium to you to give you that message because you always wondered about her, is that correct?
And you always wanted to know that if she knew that you were there.
I feel like that you are a daughter that she never had.
Oh my God.
She always said to me, she's like the daughter I never had.
I'm going to cry.
But what better way to validate that she is okay, that she's at peace, and that she is still watching over you.
I never really got to say goodbye to her.
It just feels good to know that she knows, like, you know, I was there.
So good luck to you. I wish you all the best.
It's like closure.
Excuse me, I don't mean to interrupt your lunch.
I'm Teresa, and I'm a medium, which I'm able to connect with people that have crossed over.
My name is Joe, and I'm from Hicksville. I don't believe in mediums.
Your mom has departed?
Yes.
Because she says, this is my son. This is my son over here.
I mean, you knew your mother loved you.
But she says, I wish I told him how much I loved him.
You just love your mom's furniture or a chair or something?
Oh, my God.
We were just cleaning out a storage unit before we came here.
So you were just at the storage unit that had all of mom's furniture.
Furniture from mom's house.
Perfect.
To validate that her soul was with you, she says, there's nothing wrong with that chair.
Redo it.
There's nothing wrong.
Do you understand that?
Oh, boy.
She told me my mother was here, and she knew enough about it for me to realize that my mother was present.
She says, he's a good boy, Teresa.
I said, oh, he is?
She says, he goes to church?
She goes, he prays for me every Sunday?
Yeah.
And every day.
Every day.
But with her prayer book?
Or her rosary beads?
So know that when you pray, and whatever that may be, when you go to mass, whatever it is,
please just know that you're bringing your mother's soul with you.
And that she is always with you.
Not waiting for you at the cemetery.
I didn't bring her here with me today.
Just know that she is always with you.
Literally, the only time that I've seen my father cry in his life was when my grandmother passed.
It was really crazy to see him like that.
Because she tells me that you stopped your life and put your life on hold for her.
And she says, and I never thanked him for that.
Do you understand that?
What happened today just completely took over my emotions.
