Notre Dame Cathedral, also known as Notre-Dame de Paris, is a medieval Catholic cathedral in Paris, France, renowned for its Renaissancde architecture. It has a long and rich history, with construction beginning in 1163 and largely completed by 1345. It has been modified and restored many times over the centuries, notably by Eugène-Emmanuel Viollet-le-Duc in the mid-19th century.
