In the Mud and Above the Clouds: Daughter's First Suzuki DRZ125L Off Road Motorcycling Adventure

From in the mud to above the clouds, my daughter's first real off road motorcycle riding on her Suzuki DRZ125L was quite an adventure. Exploring the forest near Shotgun Creek OHV area in Oregon was awesome. It was cloudy in the valley, but we were able to ride our dirt bikes and dual sport motorcycles above the clouds, giving us an amazing view of the Willamette Valley below. The valley looked like an ocean of clouds, and the mountains were islands peeking up above the surface. It was an amazing sight, but that was only the beginning of our off road motorcycling adventure. Afterward, we set out to explore some of the nearby logging roads and found several muddy sections and we even had a dirt bike fail along the way. Finally, Lil' Dork found the courage to attempt her first ever dirt bike trail riding! We took on one of the easy difficulty trails and Shotgun Creek and she was a bit anxious, but in the end she came through her Suzuki DRZ125L trail riding experience with flying colors. I'm so proud of how she handled herself on this super fun father/daughter motorcycle dual sport adventure.
