Transatlantic, Stage 1: Crossing the Caribbean Sea #96

After four months of work and a chaotic week of last-minute preparations, the day has finally come to leave Bonaire and set sails towards the Azores.

The first leg of this Atlantic crossing takes us upwind from the South of the Caribbean Sea to the South of Puerto Rico. We are hoping to exit between Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, but it becomes quickly clear that this will be a challenge.

Welcome to a few days of choppy beamy swell, squalliness and seasickness across the Caribbean Sea!
