35 roosters, 10 hens found in suspected cockfighting operation

Authorities in Philadelphia have uncovered a suspected cockfighting operation in the city's Kensington neighborhood.

Chopper 6 was over the scene on the 3100 block of Weymouth Street as officers were executing a search warrant around 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Authorities were seen pulling out several cages.

Action News has learned investigators found 35 roosters and 10 hens, 19 of which were taking part in the suspected fighting.
