One More Upgrade For SpaceX Falcon Heavy?

SpaceX used a future Falcon Heavy Core to do a "regular" mission in a single stick Falcon 9 configuration to get more use out of the rocket stage before it gets converted into a Falcon Heavy. Could this lead to cheaper and more frequent Falcon Heavy flights in the future?
