a wholesome summer weekend in my life in nyc ☀️ central park, perfect weather & life lately

Good morning and welcome to the vlog. It is so nice out today. Like it's still in the 70s right now. I'm wearing pants I don't know if you can see that. I'm literally wearing pants right now. Thought I'd start the vlog this morning Another big accomplishment for me. I haven't had Duncan in over a week. Pants and Duncan, who am I? Should I put my sunglasses up so I can see you? Hey It is a beautiful beautiful morning. I'm in Central Park this morning. I had to make the trek over here because it's just so Beautiful. I'm in such a good mood today I have a meeting this afternoon. That's actually in person. I'm going to the financial district for a lunch Which is really exciting And I think i'm meeting Emily for a happy hour tonight We can talk more about the order of events when I get home But this is one of those vlogs where I don't really know what's gonna happen I don't have much to actually say i'll talk more about what's going on today when I get home But I just wanted to say good morning. The sun is shining It is just absolutely stunning outside. The city's alive. The horrible humidity's gone and i'm just happy to be here There's like a band playing over there I hear drums I heard drumming and I followed the sound I think they were done by the time I got here There's a saxophone that keeps playing on and off, but I can't really find it I'm, just sitting here and like people watching I just love doing that in the summer When there's so many people in central park and it's like I don't know like there are so many tourists here. I think it's so sweet I'm walking around the park and i'm like how many of these people are seeing central park For the very first time like, you know I can come here every single day if I want to and I feel like sometimes I take that for granted But other people it's like their first and maybe only time ever coming here and that's so special And the saxophone's playing again, do you hear it? Also, I do have my headphones in right now, but there's nothing playing I just I like to have them in while I walk even if i'm listening to nothing. Wow All right, i'm gonna sit here and people watch and then we'll head home I had a banana before I went on my walk this morning. So i'm doing more of like a lunch inspired Late breakfast because I have a lunch that's a meeting in a few hours. So I want to eat a little bit but not too much, but it's still kind of early in the day So i'm just gonna make like a little salad with some hard-boiled eggs on it. Yeah And adding some tomatoes I love trader joe's salads, but I feel like sometimes they need a little more like To it. So I have the hard-boiled egg tomatoes and then these little like oven baked cheese bites that feel like croutons with the cheese Usually I would add chicken too, but i'm not super hungry right now Like I just said I have a lunch later It's like an in-person meeting which I don't even know if i've ever had one of these before But it's an in-person meeting with An agency that represents brands. I think it'll be fun I've never done an in-person like lunch meeting before so i'm excited for that. It's in the financial district. So I have to leave In like an hour and a half ish So before I go I want to take a shower But while i'm eating my lunch, I need to submit I filmed some content for a brand to use on their end So I am going to edit that send that off Take my shower and then i'll head downtown. I did not take you along with any of the getting ready process Here's the outfit i'm wearing The theme of the day is mermaid. I want to look like a mermaid right now Almost I wish I had a matching clip to this one so I could pull both sides back But this past weekend I did something like this where I pulled my hair back and I really liked it. So Wait, i'm literally wearing one earring what the heck um, but I have to leave in the next few minutes So I need to just put on a necklace And head out. I think i'm gonna wear sandals And it's just the most beautiful day and i'm in a good mood All right had a great lunch Um, and then I just walked around the seaport with my manager morgan for a little bit Because we had some time to kill before she had to go somewhere. It's such a beautiful day out So I want to keep these vibes going I don't know where i'm meeting emily, but I think I need to pick somewhere where it's outside because the vibes today are just Gorgeous, beautiful stunning. I'm gonna go back uptown. The seaport is beautiful today I feel like I have found myself in the seaport Way more often than usual and I am not mad about it I am back. I changed into jeans Because I feel like that skirt is like a daytime skirt. I am in a little bit getting happy hour with emily Well, not really happy hour because I feel like we're gonna miss happy hour because we're meeting at like 6 30 ish probably Um, i'm gonna redo my hair. I think i'm going to Do no clip for tonight i'm trying to decide if I want to wear my hair just down or if I want to put like some little braids in it I don't know. It's so beautiful out today. I know I just keep saying that but it's just such a nice day but I think it's gonna get a little chilly as the sun sets and by chilly, I mean like 67 degrees, but I don't know. I feel like I kind of want to wear pants I'm wearing the poo sweatshirt So I don't get any pasta sauce on my white top. I did little braids in my hair. I can't tell if I like them or not I got this new bracelet. I feel like everywhere I go though. My wrist is like Dangling. Um, I think I got it from tj maxx Or did I get it from marshall's here from marshall's whatever same thing. I already changed into shorts Emily and I got a drink at one place and then a drink at another place and some fries Uh, but then we're like we should just call it a night. We have some plans tomorrow night we're going to a friend's housewarming and Emily has a birthday party for a friend that she was like if you want to come do it So we were like, let's just call it a night tonight. We don't need to stay out late It's not even nine o'clock yet, I honestly might drink some water watch some tv And call it a night. I'm kind of tired. Oh my gosh. Olive looks so cute right now Hey girl Just hanging out there was like kind of a chill in the air tonight I was pleasantly surprised like I know how I kept saying it was like the most beautiful day ever as the sun set It was kind of cold. I could have almost worn a jacket and i'm kind of loving that weather like where it's So warm and sunny and beautiful during the day, but like a little chill at night All right, i'm gonna take off the rest of this jewelry Call it a night and I will talk to you in the morning It's friday morning. It looks beautiful outside. I just looked at the weather. It's currently 71. That's awesome I am just loving this weather the fact that I was like a little chilly last night is crazy Like i'm not ready for fall yet I am ready for like a little less humidity and like a little cooler of nights Which I think everyone's ready for I slept for so long last night Like I literally went to bed at 9 45 or 10 like somewhere around there Woke up this morning at 8. That was a long sleep So I feel rested after I get back from the gym and I take a shower I think I want to wash my hair today's gonna be dedicated to a lot of editing a lot of cleaning I have like weird stuff going on in my room behind the camera right here that needs to be cleaned up asap I also have a few packages I got yesterday I need to open and then tonight I think I talked about this last night Me and emily are going to my friend lucia's housewarming. Uh, she's another youtuber So i'm excited to go see her place and then emily has a friend's birthday party That's like a bar crawl so we might stop there before or after He had the birthday party. See what's going on Say good morning So i'm gonna eat that before I take a shower While i'm eating this i'm gonna upload some footage I know I won't shut up about it, but it's so beautiful out and I had to go on a walk after I went To the gym, so i'm very hungry now Bouncing my hair right now. I feel unstoppable. I dried my hair just now just because I didn't want it to stay wet for too long I wanted to dry my roots. So I did this i'll probably touch it up later because it's probably gonna fall But I have a few hours until emily's gonna come here We're gonna eat some food and then we're gonna go to our festivities of the night Um, but I want to clean up my apartment a little bit Like I said earlier, which is gonna need to be cleaned and I don't want her to be like Why is your apartment so messy? Like how am I? I have no part right now. My hair is just Bouncy, I got a few packages yesterday that I didn't open some I ordered some were sent to me Oh, this is from my friend. Ian. Ian is an esthetician Um, and he has a big social media presence. Um, and we have the same management and so we've become friends over the past few years And so he did a collab with rescue md And sent me some of their products so nice of him. Next is just an amazon box and i'm pretty sure it's toilet paper. Yeah It's just so much easier for me to order my toilet paper because I can't carry it whenever I go to the store for my last package. I knew this was coming. This is so cute It is a mini piano um from the company lube The label they sent me an email just asking if I wanted one which was so nice of them And there's like a ton of parts i'm so excited about this Okay, I see I see So I got tracking for two different things. So I think this is just the case And everything for it and I think the real piano is coming in a few days So this is like all the stuff for it. So this is the pedal There's a mini stand for it octave shifter And the piano legs so if I want to set it up, so i'll hold off on unboxing those until the actual piano comes The cats you wanna play in the box so now I gotta break down these boxes and Kind of stopped recording, but I did just get a lot done. I like organized my whole room You can see it's pretty clean behind me I wiped down like all my surfaces and everything and now i'm gonna put on some makeup. I just did my skin care I just have all these like marks left over from all the pimples past that i've had so Let's cover that up My hair is so like This right now i'm not complaining though. I kind of like it, but I don't know how I did that Uh, I put my jewelry on My loud charm bracelet back on I need to decide what like pants to wear I don't know if I want to wear jeans with this top Like I changed my top a little bit ago, but I don't know if I wanna wear jeans or a skirt I can't decide. Um, emily should be here very soon. I've been a big like jewelry person lately You know makes my outfits a little more fun. Okay change of plans. I'm just gonna meet emily at the place. So Here's the full fit. I'm doing blue on blue Because it's getting kind of chilly. So I want to wear pants um So let's go And have a fun night. It's like kind of fun because like she's taking me to something with her friends I'm taking her something with my friends her and luci actually like know of each other. I don't think they've actually ever met though So Now we're heading to the housewarming I got some flowers to bring because I feel like you shouldn't you shouldn't show up to a housewarming empty-handed, you know We are about to make our journey there. We're sitting on a bench um, because we just saw the bench and we just had to sit on it I Oh my god, look at this. Emily's heels are hurting. Honestly, maybe I can switch out my band-aids. That's a good idea That's a good that's why we're sitting. Yeah, emily's gonna switch out her band-aids and then we're gonna head to the housewarming She's doing her best I got this sweatshirt when I was in london But the first time I put it on it got like fuzzies all over me So I was like, okay I need to wash this by itself Which is very hard to do when you don't have laundry because I didn't want to pay To do a load just for this. So when I went to rhode island, I brought it Uh, because I went to maggie's maggie's parents have a house there. So I washed it there But I kind of feel like it needs another wash Um, I don't know we'll see we'll see if the fuzzies actually I need to like break it in, you know Sometimes you get a new sweatshirt and it's kind of like stiff feeling Like I know this has super cozy potential, but I need to break it in. Um, good morning I did not film much last night at all Me and emily went to a birthday party That I didn't film at because I didn't really know anybody there and I was like i'm not just gonna film these people So we went to the birthday party then made our way to lucia's house warming And then afterward we just went to like a random bar, which I totally forgot to film stayed out to like 11 45 Nothing too late, but I slept in today. I have a three-hour rehearsal later for my dance piece So that's like my bulk of today and honestly emily and I were gonna go out again tonight But we've done it two nights in a row We're like, maybe we don't need to do that So and a lot of my other friends are out of town this weekend tonight might just be a chill saturday in i'm gonna make coffee I'm gonna make some breakfast and i'm gonna spend my morning working on a video Um editing it until I have to leave for rehearsal in like two hours Filling up my water I called my mom did a little bit of work and I think i'm gonna go on a walk to rehearsal like i'm leaving a little early just because I want to get some steps maybe outside. I think our nice cool weather we were having is gone I think it's back to like the 80s 90s probably a bad idea. I'm wearing pants, but whatever What a rehearsal It's so beautiful out. I kept saying like maybe i'll just chill at home tonight Because I feel like i've been going out the last few days But it's like the second I step outside and it's really nice warm weather. I'm like, but wait, I have to do something fun Uh, I texted emily. She might walk over later and get some italian ice So I was like honestly, that sounds kind of fun. I might go with you. So maybe i'll do that later I don't know. I can't decide but right now I want to pick up some parmesan cheese because I have pasta to eat at home I'm out of parmesan. So i'm gonna get some of that I changed my mind. I talked to emily and we both decided we're kind of tired I walked a ton before rehearsal and after rehearsal and then obviously was on my feet for all rehearsals So I now feel tired and I don't want to walk anymore. I think i'm just gonna stay in tonight I'm gonna edit my video for tomorrow I'm gonna maybe watch happy gilmore 2 Remember in my last vlog when I watched the first one so I could watch the second one. I still didn't watch it Yeah, and just like make some dinner and relax. I got my parmesan cheese But then I also got this deviled egg potato salad. That's like my dream. I love deviled eggs I love potato salad. I have to try this like literally right now That is amazing I could eat this entire thing right now. All right, i'm gonna eat a little bit of this because i'm so hungry I always bring snacks like protein meat sticks and stuff that I eat throughout rehearsal, but just due to the time of it I never really eat like a solid lunch on these days. So i'm very hungry. I'm gonna eat this I'll probably take a shower And then i'll make some dinner. I have leftover pasta I can heat up Okay, I just put on a sweatshirt for the purposes of showing you this because I felt exposed in my workout top I got jeans so quick little denim haul I ordered from Abercrombie last week because they're having this denim sale Honestly by the time I post this it might still be going on every year without fail fall comes around I'm like, oh, I have no jeans. I hate on my jeans And then it's like a struggle the entire fall and winter season finding any jeans I like so I was like You know what? I'm gonna get ahead of it. There was a giant sale. I got these 50% off Uh, I got two pairs first one I'm wearing i'm wearing sweatshirt because these are low rise and like you don't you don't need to see all that but I have been wanting a pair of low rise jeans I have a lot of longer tops that I feel like would look really nice with low rise And i've only ever owned high rise jeans, but i've struggled I've been for two years looking for the perfect pair of low rise jeans and I finally did it I finally found the perfect pair of low rise. These are the curve love low rise ultra baggy jeans in short I'm five foot four So jeans are typically very long on me and these are like the perfect length. So I got these they're so comfortable And I just see myself Living in these this fall. This is not an ad. I don't know why i'm talking about it like this I'm, just very excited. It's very hard for me to find jeans. These are a 90s fit You can't really see the bottom. These are like a little more fitted but then at the bottom There's like a little flare. So if I wear like a cute shoe or something you can see it honestly I can't really take myself seriously right now with this sweatshirt on and these jeans like these I need to style better Because these are like a little tighter than jeans. I typically buy but my fans on so Can I turn it off? Me trying to turn off this fan almost ripping it out of the wall I ever since I moved in i've not been able to turn on the light without turning the fan on Can't figure out how to turn it off. These are the 90s straight mid-rise. So that's my denim haul I'm gonna take a shower now. I just wanted to try these on first and then i'm gonna cook dinner and then edit I'm showered in my pajamas and i'm ready to do a little bit of work I am pretty sure that this is my first saturday that i'm spending at home since june Like I love summer So i'm constantly trying to like take advantage of it as much as I can and I always try to schedule plans for myself every single Weekend, honestly, it's been kind of good right now I'm, like kind of excited to edit and get some work done. My dinner looks so good I made pasta and broccoli put the parmesan cheese on that I picked up on the way home And i'm even getting a little crazy cracked open a sparkling lemonade So i'm gonna edit maybe turn on happy gilmore 2 like I said All right, I actually really liked happy gilmore 2 I liked it better than the first one I think I watched that I edited Um, and now i'm getting ready for bed and I think i'm gonna call it tomorrow sunday I have it fully just dedicated to editing and I have another like three hour dance rehearsal tomorrow.
