Oh my gosh, that is freezing!
Canada has white ladies too.
Well, Canada is beautiful.
Super reminded of that today.
Just surreal looking up at the mountains, the Rockies.
We flew over them, coming to Calgary,
and being down amongst them is absolutely majestic.
Yeah, of course!
And a couple of bayerns.
Good morning from Canmore.
And I just want to let everybody know,
the bears ate everybody here,
and that's why there's nobody around.
Or it could be a Sunday morning.
8.15am, we drove from Calgary,
we're going for breakfast,
and the main road's blocked off so there's no vehicles.
I can't believe though, there's just nobody around.
Hey love, the bears, they ate everybody here.
You're next.
What?
They might love me.
Wait, you're sweet, they like honey,
they're going to eat you even more.
Yeah, because I ate lots of sweet.
My blood is sweet.
How was your bacon jalapeno cheddar bagel?
Super yummy.
Super yummy, I had everything bagel.
I'm not a fan of like bread really,
but because it's jalapeno and it's a lot of spice,
it's a little bit of cheese,
I really like it.
Bagels are very Canadian.
Jalapeno.
I had the salmon on mine.
It's so calm out here.
Everybody got eaten outside by bears.
Crossing the river of death?
Oh no.
What's the scene?
What are we going to do?
You start from the last one.
But how? How do we do this?
Are we going to walk in?
Oh, okay.
Can you bring in the fake snow?
That's cool.
That's the besaya word.
I like that.
Nice place.
Cool.
Thank you for stopping at the crosswalks, Canada.
I love it.
Welcome to Banff.
They're lining up for the Banff sign shot.
And I think it was free.
I think it was free.
It's free to come in the park now, right?
It's free?
Thank you, government of Canada.
It's free, they know that we're coming.
So we're in the best spot right now.
Because trains in Canada are super duper long.
Because it's a big country, you got to make that trip worthwhile.
And by the way, everyone takes photos of the signs in this country too.
Yes.
Let's fill her up.
That's very Canadian.
Fill her up.
Let's go.
Fill her up, babe.
You got to get that deep, like, that Alberta oil rig voice.
I'm not Brad, that's Filipino.
Fill her up.
It's amazing, though.
So in the Cordilleras, there's big mountains.
But here, they just go straight up.
And they're just everywhere.
Okay, bye, love.
You go ahead.
See you.
Oh, it's still stinky.
That's so interesting.
I didn't realize Banff is super popular because of the thermal bath.
Thermal water.
No, you don't.
Oh, yeah, it does.
Oh, you got the thing.
One.
Oh, family picnic.
Move ahead three spaces.
One, two, three.
Three, three, three.
Don't get the six.
No, no.
No.
That's pretty cool.
Love, what do you?
What do you call that one?
Socialcalesa.
So that was pretty cool.
But I'm still a little bit upset because Doreen was farting in the cave.
What?
Love, admit it.
Admit it.
No, I would never do such a thing.
I only fart on airplanes when people do meal service because nobody smells it then.
I mean.
Even the administrative building in Banff is stunningly beautiful.
I think it's called like Cascades Gardens.
Parking street.
Hey, be careful.
Yeah, we're in a parking street.
You know what we call that right there?
That's the LTO in Canada.
They have gophers that watch you park here and if you do bad, you're in trouble.
See?
Right there.
This is the parking gopher or the LTO here in Canada.
Very diligent.
Watches everybody parking.
Won't even flinch.
Won't even stop looking.
Barely even blinks.
I didn't realize that you could just walk around.
Oh my gosh, yeah.
Walk around and look at giant swords on the wall.
Canada has white ladies too.
Just say it with me, like tabby, tabby.
Oh.
Kali hug.
Thanks.
You have to, love.
Very Canadian.
Ketchup chips on the road.
Oh.
I forgot.
It's almost like sweet and sour, right?
Kind of like sweet and sour.
Ketchup.
So believe it or not, this is called Bow Falls.
But if you're Filipino and you replace the P, Bopals.
Don't be Bopals.
My wife just yelled at me.
I'm not Bopals.
Only sometimes.
All right, welcome to the EDSA of Alberta.
Banff's main road.
Full of people.
Oh, actually.
I, I take that back.
It's more like Japan.
Shibuya crossing.
Oh, hey, hey.
What's that heck of a Mayans?
Nice.
So we're lining up for some beaver tails.
What did you think it was?
Banana with chocolate filling.
Well, we're about to find out if you're right.
Very Canadian thing coming up.
What's your vibe?
Yeah, it's kind of like a donutty bread, no?
And you rock the hazelnut chocolate.
It looks like ----, but it's good.
It's my first bite of beaver tail in maybe 20 years.
It's good.
Huh?
That was an incredible drive.
Did you see the wildlife corridors that go over the highway?
And then the mountains on the left and right, all the trees.
We made it to Lake Louise.
I believe the Olympics was held here back in the day.
This could have been the area that did the downhill.
We're gonna go see some lakes.
First time here ever.
Still a beautiful day.
4 30 p.m.
Big parking lot.
Lots of people coming.
It's pretty incredible.
Worth the bus ride?
Wow, that is super cool watercolor.
Obviously a very famous place.
They have a fair amount here, a big hotel.
The canoes are red and it just kind of clashes with the water.
It makes it look super cool.
I guess glacier up there.
Lake Louise.
This is Lake Louise, right?
Like the actual lake.
Okay, good.
Just double checking.
Oh my gosh, that is freezing.
Holy smokes.
Definitely an ice bath.
So cold.
Go love.
Go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
Moraine Lake, 6 p.m.
Huh?
Doing great, love.
The fastest I've ever seen you hike.
Somebody's excited.
Almost at the rock pile.
Uh, left.
A baby squirrel.
It's a baby.
Careful.
Oh, amazing.
Congrats.
All the way from Georgia.
Congrats on your wedding.
Go love.
Take care, guys.
See you guys, see you guys, see you guys.
Bye-bye.
Take care.
Oh, the bird.
The bird's going for it.
What?
You naughty bird.
How dare you go for the baby squirrel?
Oh no, run squirrel.
It's going for the other squirrels.
What are you doing, Mr. Bird?
What are you doing?
Oh my gosh, love.
Poor baby squirrel.
Huh?
Oh no.
So, uh, we ended up randomly meeting a couple who's from Georgia,
who's here in Canada for the first time, just got married today.
Congratulations.
We're going to be heading back towards Calgary later.
So, in the meantime...
Sorry, another bird just popped up.
I was like, look at your squirrel.
Oh no, no, no, he's going for it.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
No.
Look, he's here.
No, run squirrel, run.
What are you looking at, love?
Your first ever elk.
Haven't seen an elk in so long.
