Ancient wonders in Xian China

Xian is an ancient city in China that was once the capital for 13 dynasties and has history of over 2200 years in China.
Xi'an is one of China's oldest cities and the starting point of the legendary Silk Road. The ancient City Wall of Xi'an is one of the best-preserved. Stretching over 14 kilometers this wall offers a unique vantage point to view the city, where the past meets the present.
There is a vibrant Muslim Quarter with delicious street food such as the famous Xi'an dumplings and spicy lamb skewers. This lively area showcases the city’s rich cultural diversity and history of Silk Road trade.
This is the home of 2200 year-old Qin Terracotta Warriors & Horses that was buried for over two millennia until its discovery in 1974. These life-sized figures were crafted to guard the tomb of China’s first emperor, Qin Shi Huang, in the afterlife. The vast pits of over 8,000 soldiers along with chariots and horses, stand in solemn formation. Each warrior has distinct facial features and attire reflecting the incredible craftsmanship of ancient Chinese artisans.
