Avoiding any major disasters from Hurricanes is another reason to say thanks by playing music, dancing, and eating lots of delicious food.

The Grape Harvest Festival dates back to 1936 when a signed decree stated that the grape harvest would become a social event on the national calendar. Over 25 thousand viewers show up at the Gimnasia y Esgrima Stadium, where the magnificent event of the crowning of the ‘Queen of Vendimia’ with a tiara made of grape leaves and vines takes place. This is along with music and dancing! The show is followed by a large fireworks display and live music.
