It's really, really important, especially at this race.
Big Grand Prix this weekend.
A lot of industry people here.
A lot of fans as well.
The Mecca of motocross.
It's a big weekend for these two as well.
Fevre and Koonin as they continue to fight at the top of the championship.
They continue to fight over first place in race one.
There's absolutely nothing in it.
Fevre, the championship leader at the moment, but if he leaves the door open, Koonin's going
to come flying through.
He's going to get outside, inside, in the next couple of corners, and Koonin.
Full commitment there from Fevre.
Almost coming together, but Fevre not preparing to give an inch.
He's got his gifting head on.
Listen to the atmosphere here.
Absolutely unreal.
That takes so much mental fortitude to come in from the outside fully committed right
there.
I think there's trust.
You have to trust the rider you're racing with, but yeah, it's really hard to see from
that angle.
Lucas, if he wanted to, could punt him three berms deep there.
Koonin.
This is where he made an attempt earlier on in the race.
Outside, inside was the option for these two corners here.
He's getting himself close, lining himself up for another potential attack.
If he's close enough out of this long sweeper, can he get the distance and the momentum on
the wall jump?
He's very, very close here.
A bite length in it.
He runs to the outside.
He's going to set himself up for a single and a huge jump here.
That's exactly what he does.
Oh, he takes the lead.
A magical moment for Koonin.
Fans absolutely out of their seats.
If they were sat down.
He has a moment there.
Fevre tries to react.
Koonin, wise above his years.
In that moment there, he realized he made a mistake coming back onto the start straight.
He had to react to that going through the first corner.
And it's Koonin.
The Belgian who leads at home.
Right, Fevre.
Let's see what you've got.
That's exactly what he's got.
Cleans him up the inside.
Off the side of the track.
Fevre is not taking this one down.
Four minutes to go.
This is what we came to see here in Belgium.
Yeah, that was a big response from Fevre.
And both of them just a flurry there, right?
So you're probably going to see a little regroup here from Koonin.
Try to, again, same thing we saw before.
Get his breathing under control.
Get the heart rate down.
The problem is, he only maybe has some of the momentum.
