To the left of screen is Rafa Kamara, to the right, your pole sitter, Cushmany.
And we are go here at the Hungar Ring and a good launch there off the front row from Kamara but an
even better launch from Cushmany. In fact, it looks like Noel Leon has come through into second place
there as they charge down towards the first corner. We've got Noel Leon trying to go around
the outside of Cushmany. Small lock-up from him in Chepuvezac in the black and red ART going
slightly wide and that's opened the door for Van Hoopen to now go alongside and round the outside
at Hamilton Corner. So that's a change for fourth place or is it in Chepuvezac trying to fight back
but Van Hoopen gets through and into fourth place. Clean start from your leaders, Cushmany leading
the way. Yeah, Van Hoopen using the additional grip of that softer tyre compared to in Chepuvezac
to get through a turn to start fighting side by side. Further back, that is Solov. Oh, outside
line. Oh, sideways on the kerb on the exit of four as he went. And there's contact further back. That's
Bennett into the side of Stenton and also contact on Solov. If there'll be any damage remaining from
that. Oh, Dirksen on the inside to Zanapoli and Chepuvezac through the chicane. All just about
through there, okay. It was a great start from Cushmany in the Alpine liveried ART. Oh, Van Hoopen
actually got squeezed up to the pit wall, didn't he, by Dirksen. Then we headed down towards home
and further back you had the VARs or was it actually Goethe going on the grass but then three abreast
into turn one for third place. Van Hoopen backed out of that one. Noel Leon got the move done and
then Dirksen looking left and then right did eventually get through on ART. We look back now
from Cushmany. Great start. Good launch. You heard that perfect. Actually, the best start of all was
Noel Leon. No wonder he jumped into second place. Further left and right, jostling further back. You
can see Van Hoopen looking at the inside but choosing not to break too late. Didn't want to
do what Solov did yesterday. A lock up actually from Cushmany. A little one so it won't hurt his
eyes too much. And then this is the issue here. So Solov round the outside of Stenshawn goes wide,
has a big wobble. Stenshawn also has a wobble. Bennett just piercing the gap and Stenshawn
didn't see that Bennett was there. Also contact front wing. I think that was one of the VARs.
I think Montoya is going to be wise and just lets Solov through. They're not racing
realistically one another. Well, they are racing one another but they're on different strategies
so it'd be unwise of either of them to scrap with each other because they'd be losing out in their
relative different strategies. Solov makes his way through cleanly today. He can try and ruin the
strategy that Solov's got as Inter Pubisac has decided now is the time to push. He's got better
tyre life now. He's on the heart of the two. The softs are going away. He's going to start picking
his way through the drivers who are struggling on their tyres. This is an indication to me that we
may well be seeing a pit stop as you suggested, Chris, in the next couple of laps because it's now
the soft tyre is falling off a little bit of a cliff and isn't able to keep pace with the medium.
Noel Leon now into pit lane from second place. And also talking of safety cars,
virtual safety cars at least. That helps Noel Leon because all the cars are going to slow down now
as he's making his way through pit lane. Not the full advantage had he come in straight away. Had
that virtual safety come out a bit earlier but nevertheless that comes as good news. And who got
in in the background as well? Marie Boyer. I think they spotted that that was coming and they put the
car in and this is why. It's because Rafael Villa-Gomez has pulled over going down to turn 12,
is that? I think. There's Cushmany to the left in the white Campos. There is Noel Leon and through
past Cushmany he goes. And what a moment that is for Noel Leon. A bit of a battle forming here.
It's Intropuvozac now. Pressure in the back of Mini. Yes, he is all over the back of the Alpine
Junior. Mini defending here. This is for eighth on the road for now. And Intropuvozac goes all the
way around the inside. Now he's on the soft tyres. Those fresher soft tyres has come in. So
he's ticked off Gabriele Mini. Next on his list is going to be Dirksen. This is the battle between
our championship leaders. Mini in the pink MP car there and Solov in the red bull colours for Campos.
Mini wide. His tyre is just falling away. And then the traction. Look at the traction that Solov had
out of that penultimate corner of Senna. And then this is Intropuvozac trying to get the move done
from Dirksen towards the inside. And Intropuvozac just braking a bit late.
We've almost gone 12 rounds in this fight, haven't we? And Intropuvozac will give it another go into
the first corner. And Dirksen, that's a late defence there. Intropuvozac did find a gap
on the inside. Looked a bit naughty from Dirksen there. But Intropuvozac found a way through in
the end. There is Intropuvozac. He's gone through. Then Dirksen. Watch out for the blue dams. A
head at the apex. Contact in the middle. Boganovic potentially through. He's going to
have DRS. We're going to go side by side down towards Turn 2. We absolutely are. Dirksen
giving him the room on the exit. And Boganovic goes through. One attempt from him. And now he's
going to have to deal with Nikola Solov. It'll be two extra points for him if he can get by
as they head downhill through Turn 3. As it stands, Camara would be around 16 points
back from Nikola Solov. But that could all be about to change because he's going to go
around the outside at Turn 5. Your championship leader all the way around the outside there.
That's superb driving from him. Out front, though, Noel Leon. Quick thinking from himself
and the team at Campos to get him in just before that virtual safety car. That put him into
the net race lead. And since then, he has done a superb job to drive it all the way to the
chequered flag. Noel Leon out of the final corner. And it will be a first feature race win
for Noel Leon this season. Cushmany finishing in second place and Rafa Camara in third place,
taking points out of championship leader Nikola Solov. Almost! Yes! Grande, Pepe! Grande!
I gave it everything, mate. I'm so sorry. Yeah, you guys deserve the win. The racing gods one day
will be nice to me. He is a feature race winner now in Formula 2. Well done to him and the Campos
racing team. Noel Leon winning his first feature race in Formula 2. Cushmany got the fastest lap
point in the top 10. Rafa Camara, a podium for him. Great weekend for Laurenzvan, who for the
And now he's put himself on the top step of the feature race podium.
That's going to have eyes looking at him, no doubt, going into the last few rounds of the season.
The support from the crowd here in Hungary and Budapest for Noel Leon. A big cheer as he came
out to the podium. He'll remember this for a long time. A feature race win in Formula 2
is absolutely a stamp of approval.
