Oh no. I really don't know if I like the
spray that much anymore. It looks
crinkly, but again, maybe the dryer will
get it out. I'm going to see how we did.
Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Let me grab a
couple of these. Okay, we got one, two.
This This shirt still feels infused,
like really really infused into today.
You find me in the laundry room because
I am answering the most asked question
that you all have been asking. Can the
Magic Seal spray or matte shirts hold up
to a wash test? Let's find out. Y'all,
you asked. I'm delivering. You're in my
laundry room today and we're going to
put to the test our Magic Seal spray and
the Magic Seal mat. We are going to see
what actually happens once we wash all
of these amazing shirts. If you're just
tuning in, we recently did a video
teaching you guys exactly how to quote
unquote seal your shirts. It's not
necessarily sealing, but that's what I
call it because the amount of quality
that these shirts have when you are
using our new spray or the mat is
unbelievable. I am so excited to put it
to the test. We are going to test it
today while you're in my laundry room
and we're going to find out. Does it
actually hold up? I think that's the
number one question that I got on the
video was like, Tanner, this looks
really good. It seems awesome. Will it
be able to withhold a wash test? And not
only a wash test, a basic wash test and
dryer. And the best part is we have so
many different shirts to try. Every
single one that we've been making here
on the channel, we're about to put it to
the test and we're going to wash it like
never before. I'm specifically excited
to see what happens with heat transfer
vinyl. Now, remember, all these shirts
have such great results. It's deep into
the fabric. It is holding on really well
so far. Still looks amazing from the
past video, but now we must put it to
the test. I am so excited. So, let me
know in the comments down below. What
other things have you all been wondering
when it comes to this product? Some
people have been commenting saying,
"Tanner, these mats have been around for
years. Where have you been?" And clearly
y'all, I must have been living under a
rock because as a Cricut sublimation
crafting expert, I feel like I have a
responsibility to bring you the latest,
the greatest results when it comes to
crafting. And this material, I mean, is
one that I have just been so obsessed
with. I mean, when you look at this one
specifically is a DTF and then we used
the mat. Y'all be sure to check out the
other video because wow. I mean, the
results is so good. And as we did
further results and testing, especially
with our live stream, I'll be sure to
link it. The mat outweighs the spray
everyday twice on Sunday, which really
shocked me. So, we're throwing it all in
here inside the washer. And here's the
deal. I am not going to do anything
special. It is a rare occasion you find
me in my laundry room, but we are going
to take all the shirts that we've been
testing. I'm going to find my Tide Pods
and we are going to put it to the test.
And I want to make sure that you all
understand I'm not doing anything
special. I'm throwing in the Tide Pods
just with all my other laundry that I
have to do today. And we are going to
turn this on and we're about to start it
up. All right. So, I turned it on. We're
going to leave it set to normal. And
then here we go. All we're going to do
is start this. It's going to lock. And
we are going to wash all of these
shirts. Now, here's the thing. I don't
know how well this is going to hold up.
I wonder what's going to happen when the
water and especially the heat of the
dryer like activates. Um, will it peel
up? Will it end up looking back like
normal? I think that's the big question
that we all want to know is what happens
during a wash test. And I'm really
intrigued wondering how many washes it
can actually hold up for. Um I think
with regular heat transfer vinyl, you
usually can get I say about 30 washes.
So if this new technique with the
pressing mat or the spray could help me
get 45 washes or 60 washes, that would
be incredible. And y'all, the washing
has begun. I am so excited to see what
the results are. When it comes to DTF, I
also, you know, have seen maybe a little
bit better results with that just cuz
it's seems to be thinner and it goes
into the fabric better. But with this
mat, guys, if you are not using that
mat, like it just makes it feel like it
was made to be on the fabric, like truly
like printed, like the highest quality
that you can make at home is what
happens when you're utilizing the magic
seal mat. I am just still blown away. I
mean, almost a month later at the
results I'm getting with this product.
It is very rare that I find something
that I like to this level. And I think
you would be impressed too, y'all. I
literally I had no idea how fast laundry
was. Like I don't know. But I went and
did some computer work and came back and
the washer was already done. This is
crazy. I
may be telling on myself, but I don't do
my own laundry. So anyway, okay. It's
been washed. Take a look. Here is one of
the designs. I mean, you can still tell
it's kind of kind of wet. Um, it still
looks good. The edges look good.
Everything seems to be fine. Um, this is
one. This is another one.
This is it. And you can see still looks
good. Still looks good. The edges feel
good. It does feel a little bit thicker,
I think, now that it feels like now that
it's wet, if that makes sense. But maybe
after it dries it'll like up again. Um,
okay. This one was a bigger one.
You can still see that it's still like
infused, you know what I mean? Like
we're not losing anything.
Um, which is nice. This is the one I was
most excited to see because it's the um
the really nice DTF.
Look at this.
I mean, guys, it's still like this one
is still infused in there. Like, holy
cow. Amazing. Just amazing. And the way
that like these bigger images can feel
so incredible. Just awesome. And then,
of course, this is the HTV one. We did a
couple of tests on this one, but let's
see the HTV.
Okay. Oh.
Oh, wait. Wait, hold on. Let me spread
this out for a second.
Did it crinkle?
Oh no.
I really don't know if I like the spray
that much anymore. It looks crinkly, but
again, maybe the dryer will get it out.
I don't know if you guys can tell, but
it just looks like crinkly.
Not good.
Okay, so we're going to put all this in
the dryer and we're going to find out
what we what we think after the dry
test. I mean, y'all, this is going to be
crazy.
Okay, y'all. We're back. The dryer is
almost finished. I have been babysitting
this dryer for the last 10 minutes. Like
sipping my coffee, like just waiting for
it to finish. Is this normal? Like the
washer was done so quick. I literally
just went on the longest waited walk of
my life. It's the middle of summer here
in East Tennessee and it's so hot. Um,
but I was getting my steps in. I was
walking, having a great time. Now it's
time. I'm going to see how we did. Oh my
gosh. Oh my gosh. Let me grab a couple
of these. Okay, we got one, two. I'm
literally doing my laundry here. I just
want y'all to know I'm doing like my
actual laundry.
Multitasking. Okay, here are some of the
main shirts that we did. And the moment
of truth has finally arrived. Let's take
a look. Okay, first up we have this
shirt right here.
This is one we did with the mat. Okay,
so this is one we did with the mat. Take
a look.
It looks good. Like everything still
looks good about it as you can see. I
will say
I think for this one
it might not feel as in the shirt as
before. You know, that was one of our
big comments like, "Wow, it's like
really infused. You can't really feel
it." Like now when I'm feeling it, I'm
like, "Eh, like is that really is that
really it?" So, I'm not sure about that.
Um, next up is this one. And I believe
this is another matte one. Maybe the
spray, but I'm pretty sure the matte.
It's pretty good. I mean, everything is
still infused. Okay. So, like I just
want you to understand like it's still
it's still infused. The edges feel good
from the two I've looked at so far. I'm
not worried about like it's only one
wash and dry. So, like these all of
these are meant to hold up 20 or 30
washes
at least. Um, so that's a good sign. But
I will say,
I don't know if it's just me being hyper
critical or what, but it seems like it
might be a little thicker. I don't know.
That's just my personal opinion. Y'all
have to pop off in the comments. Okay,
the one I was really worried about cuz
we did the spray.
Okay, let's just take a look overall.
Now, we did two. This is the one we
messed up at the bottom. Let's not talk
about that. But the front.
Okay. I was really concerned because I
swear after it came out of the wash I
was like
I don't know. Um but this it looks good.
For some reason though the spray like
gave it like a gloss which it's not like
I don't know. But tell me what you
think. Like overall the heat transfer
vinyl looks good. Um it feels fine. It
did when I before I put it in the dryer,
it looked like it had like crinkled
together,
but it looks better now because like
look. So, that's nice. Okay. And then we
have this one we did on a live stream.
Looks okay.
Um I can still tell we did the the
matte. Um so it clearly does work. It
just helps it go into that fabric and
the fibers. Just makes it go better. I
don't know. I'm sure there's been a lot
of comments about like why that works,
why it doesn't or why, you know, what
happens. It's not truly ceiling. I know.
I knew that from the beginning. I just
didn't know how else to describe this
process. Here's the shirt that I'm just
like that changed my life. I love it.
Yeah, this feels really good. This This
shirt still feels infused like really
really infused into the fibers. I mean,
these edges look just flawless. So, this
is the verdict. It's awesome. I'm really
impressed. I will have to report back on
if I think it could help extend the life
10 washes, 20 washes, 30 washes. Like,
that would be where it would be just
like a no-brainer to not craft without
it. Um, personally, I I will be using
this moving forward. like just straight
up 100% if I'm making whether it's, you
know, HTV, DTF, whatever, what have you,
I think I will definitely be using it.
So, that's the verdict over here at my
house. I need you to chime in in the
comments down below. Have you got your
spray yet? Have you got your mat yet?
What is the verdict? What do you think?
