Shelter Me: Meet Marigold! A sweet girl ready for adventure

In today's Shelter Me, we meet a sweet dog who has a heart full of adventure and a great name. Mara Gold is looking for a family that will take her along for all of life's fun. Here's Cesaly Tinen with Marold's story [Music] for this week. Shelter Me. Lindsay King is here from the Pennsylvania SPCA again. Thank you for being here. And this beautiful girl, Marieold. H, tell me about her. Yeah, Maragold came in um through our animal law enforcement team in January with another dog. They weren't really living in the best of conditions. Um, but she is still just sweet as pie and absolutely an absolute little love bug. Um, she's had a really great weekend offsite with some buddies. We're not sure why she's still looking for a home because she's a pretty low-key girl. She's smart. Um, she can be a little nervous, but she warms up really quickly as she saw. She doesn't seem nervous now. She loves treats, so we think she'll um definitely want to like, you know, get to know her family with some treats. She's open to dog meats. Um and yeah, she's just a really really great girl. You think she's two to four years old boxer mix? Yeah, that's what that's what that's our best guess. You know, sometimes that's all it is, but um that's that's what we're thinking for this girl. So, if somebody wants to meet her, uh this weekend you have a special event going on. Yeah, this weekend is the best time. So, she will be out of her kennel hanging out with her buddies on Sunday at our fresh start thanks to our partners at Fresh Pet um our adoption event. So, her fee will be waved on Sunday. Um, and if you're looking to meet her, Sunday would be a great time to bring the whole family. Bring bring any resident dogs and meet her and some of our other Spotlight dogs. So, what would be your ideal family for Marold? I think a family that will know she's a little nervous, but also give her love and once she adjusts to you, she's really really wonderful. She loved hiking with her volunteer buddy um on her overnight and she's done well at events. So, we know she's a yappy hour girl, too. Yeah, she's a sweetie. Oh, look at that face. Look at that beautiful face. Yes, we'll find you a home, sweetie. She beautiful. Oh, you're so good. The way she loves every single one of them.
