I am taking a "staycation" and am enjoying all the beauty of my home and region. I am taking you to the market in Beaune and on a visit of my dear friends. Bonjour. In today's video, I am taking
you with me on my, let's say, station. I
kind of am taking a holiday in my own
region, just slowing down, enjoying
life. And today I am on my way to the
market in Boon.

Turn around cuz we're going to go on the
bus.
And while Olaf is continuing the
building works, I'm kind of waiting
until I can start painting things, which
is not now. So, I'm taking advantage of
this time that I have now to work on one
of my next books. Now, I know many of
you are impatiently waiting for the
interior book, but since that involves
so many other people and projects, I'm
afraid that's going to take a little
longer. And I am working on the second
cookbook, which is also turning out so
much more exciting than I initially
thought. And so I'm cooking and testing
recipes and taking pictures, but I think
that may be published early next year.
So let me know if you're excited about
that. I am fully enjoying creating and
writing this book. I can't say too much
about it yet, but it does really involve
many of the local traditions and the
festivities around our wine culture and
the local delicacies here of Burgundy.
So, I am learning so much, meeting so
many nice people. I cannot wait to share
this with you. And if you're interested

I also decided to spend a few days with
my dear friends on the other side of the
natural park. They have a lovely
property very much like ours. Just a
very quiet, peaceful place and they said
I could stay in their caravan which they
have for their friends and family. They
also have a cabin that they rent out and
I filmed here a couple of times and it
was just wonderful to spend a couple of
days with them just hiking in nature,
chatting, having coffees, just not
working for a moment. I did film a
little bit. Some of you say don't film
when you're out enjoying. But actually
for me, filming helps me be more present
in the moment. So I am just going to
share some of the images of my stay with
them with you.
