Scarlett Johansson Reacts to Getting Revenge on 'SNL's' Michael Che

It feels like it's the summer of Scarlet. Oh my gosh. Hopefully not the entire summer. We love to see it though. I'll move over a little bit here. Yeah, a little bit of the summer. We got a vacation too at some point. And then it's vacation. Yeah, absolutely. Well, congratulations on this, reuniting with Wes Anderson. You know, we all love it for the style and how beautiful it's all put together. But at the core, this is a story about a father and a daughter really reuniting. It is. How did that theme resonate with you? When I read the script, I was so touched by it. I said to Wes, it's kind of like the Odyssey meets Paper Moon. It really feels like this huge journey that a father takes in order to have a second chance with his adult daughter, and it's very moving. I think also you see the character that Benicio plays change over the course of the film in a really profound way. The change is brought about by, inspired by his daughter. And yeah, it's very moving. And congratulations again on your Cannes directorial debut. Thank you. What an amazing place to premiere it. I don't know if you saw, but fans are freaking out over the sweet viral moment between you and Colin right before the film started. You two shared a kiss. Oh, yeah. How do you guys just keep everything so cute all the time? Oh, no. Um, we like each other, you know? So I think that's the key ingredient. Everybody has their, you know, their ups and downs, but I think, you know, at the core, if you like the other person and want them to win, you know, then you're on the right track. Yeah. Well, you guys won together on the season finale of SNL's 50th season, which was wild. How much fun was that, just closing out the show? It was great. I mean, it was so wonderful to be celebrating with the cast and the crew at 30 Rock because, you know, it feels like family, and I think it's, you know, there's a comfort level that we all have with one another that I think, you know, the end of the season is so stressful anyway that it feels there's something safe about having that comfort level with one another. And it's just exciting to celebrate the end of the season. It was a huge, huge season this year with the 50th, and I just felt very proud for everybody and, you know, all they accomplished this year, so it was great to celebrate it with that cherry on top.
