Go-to order, probably like wings and fries with limbo sauce. Classic.
On the side or on it?
On top.
On top, okay.
Salt and pepper.
I like Jordan's a lot, but I've been into the loafers a little bit right now.
It's tough because it kind of depends on my vibe and how I'm feeling.
But I love Jordan's. I've always liked basketball shoes.
I wore KDs a lot growing up.
But recently, I haven't been into sneakers too much.
I left DC at 15 to move to Florida.
And I started training at the National Tennis Center in Orlando.
But I would always come back for holidays and whenever I had off time.
Yeah, I started playing at a super young age.
So it was obviously something that has been introduced to me.
I've done it my whole life, but I'm really big into music.
So I think I would do something around that.
I don't know if Florida has had the biggest influence on my style.
It's a lot more laid back.
Obviously, DC is big on culture.
So I would say all of that comes from here.
I mean, DC has so many amazing restaurants
of every culture you can think of.
So I always go to my favorite spots
or hang out with my friends at whatever cool rooftops there are.
There's always new restaurants popping up.
So it's always something new.
If I could be the creative director of any four brands,
it'd be probably Acne Studios,
Chrome Hearts, Jordan brand, and Needles.
I don't know. They're just some of my favorite brands.
I wear a lot of Acne Studios.
For some reason, I love it.
I like the different stuff that they do.
Very bold pieces.
Chrome Hearts, I love the jewelry there.
Obviously, I have a few pieces from them.
Jordan, something that I wear a lot on court
when I'm practicing and stuff.
So something that I could get good use out of.
And Needles, I think it's cool,
like in between lounge and more, I don't know.
But those are probably the top four.
Yeah, shopping is, I don't know.
It's maybe a bad habit at this point
because I'm doing so much of it.
But yeah, I definitely go shopping when I need a pick-me-up.
Sometimes I'll base it around my pants.
Some Louboutin loafers.
They're a little beat up right now.
Some camo jeans.
I forget where I got these from.
Little chain.
I think this shirt is from All Saints.
Then I got the accessories.
You have to get into the jewelry.
Yeah, you have to.
Chrome, Chrome.
I don't know, I picked up these pieces.
Yeah, sure, let's call it vintage.
David Yurman, Yurman.
Yurman chains.
Oh yeah, and me, of course.
Most of the time, yeah, I'd say start with the shoes
and then bring the accessories into play.
I think my style has changed a lot over the years.
Traveling, I think, also has done that.
Going to different countries
and just seeing things that I like.
I honestly don't know how to put into words
what my style is, but I like a lot of street wear.
And I'm big on shoes, so I wear a lot of sneakers,
Jordans, and I've been into the loafers
I wear chains when I play, bracelets,
try to wear a little bit of jewelry as much as I can.
Off court, try to pick up cool pieces,
athleisure wear mostly.
But I'm one of not many black women playing the game,
so that's definitely something that I represent.
And I didn't come from a tennis background.
My parents didn't have anything to do with tennis,
so I think that it's really cool
that I was able to come out of that
and turn into what I am today.
I think I go further into myself.
I'm super competitive, and I think maybe off court
I may not seem that way, but my closest friends and family
they know that about me, and so obviously
on the tennis court I can just be an animal.
I think because I'm maybe more of a laid back person
that people think I'm maybe not putting in the work
that I need to be, or my focus isn't what it needs to be.
But I mean, I'm not at this point
because I was messing around for the last however many years
and I gotta work hard too.
Five year plan, obviously playing tennis.
So the goal is to get a slam.
That's the only thing on my mind right now.
I mean, I would love to somehow get into fashion
through clothes or jewelry.
I've been trying to learn how to make music,
so develop those things a little bit more.
Tennis, yeah, of course, it brings me a lot of joy.
It's obviously very fun to compete on a stage
in front of lots of people, traveling around the world
and being able to do that is super special
and it's nothing that I take for granted.
So yeah, I love tennis still.
Obviously a lot of players lose love for the game
and I mean, I can definitely see how that happens
because it's a lot of stress, a lot of pressure.
Just continuous all year round, but I love the travel
and I love the fast-paced life.
My friends and my family, they definitely ground me.
I get to travel with them to amazing places,
new cities and countries.
So being with the people close to me definitely grounds me.
Yeah, I learned that.
Total is $47.
All right, appreciate you.
For sure, thank you.
Thank you.
