China's Long Arm on American Soil

While freedom of speech is under threat—even on our university campuses—awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s repressive tactics is growing worldwide.

For over 26 years, Falun Gong practitioners have faced brutal persecution in China simply for following the values of truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance. Now, many who fled to the U.S. in search of freedom face continued harassment and defamation campaigns orchestrated by the regime abroad.

In an interview with China in Focus, we discuss how the CCP extends its surveillance, propaganda, and intimidation tactics onto American soil—targeting students, dissidents, activists, and even peaceful spiritual groups like Falun Gong.
