Wild Horses Wild Cowgirl 7 #wildhorses

With their Mustang Smarty on the mat, Sam is considering other options for the upcoming Mustang Challenge in Las Vegas. Originally I just wanted to compete with one horse. I wanted to have one in the Mustang Challenge and I wanted two in the Mustang Classic and you know, unfortunately with Smarty's lameness, you know, I just kind of, I felt like maybe a second horse would be a good idea to have for the competition. JB was kind of being naughty with Dana, my intern. He ended up actually bucking her off once and she was having a little trouble kind of getting through that and she was so nice to give him to me, you know, I said, well, I'd like to try him because I knew, you know, there was a lot of potential there and I took him over in about mid-April and we got him going. He did try to buck with me a little bit the first ride and you know, I just kind of got after him and we got better, we got through it and now he's been real good. With just three months before the competition, Sam has taken a big gamble on JB. He's already bucked off one rider. She'll have to quickly break him of that habit if they hope to do well in Las Vegas or just being a good domestic horse. Even after his big day yesterday, JB definitely has a few bucks left in him. After all that bucking, Sam bravely climbs aboard. Let the rodeo begin! After a quick check-in with some light ground work, Sam climbs aboard JB for a second ride. This time, horse and rider move out flawlessly.
