Miao Embroidery: Sewing a Future Together

This show is about a group of ethnic Miao women who make a living by reviving the ancient Miao embroidery skills in a small mountainous village in southwest China's Guizhou Province. With the effort, the women have become the breadwinners of their families while the male members began to take over most of the housework. More young people also choose to stay in the village instead of seeking work elsewhere. This also helps to alleviate the problem of the "left-behind children".
