Joining us now is Committee to Unleash Prosperity's co-founder, Stephen Moore.
Stephen, great to see you.
So, the numbers, Stephen, you're a numbers guy.
They're great.
We're not just winning, but when we look at the jobs numbers, when we look at the real
assessment of CPI, of all of this, of inflation, it's really America that's winning.
Yeah, you better believe it.
All those statistics that you guys were just quoting are pretty amazing.
This is now the six-month anniversary of his inauguration.
It's pretty remarkable he's been able to achieve this in half a year.
I never thought that we could get that tax bill passed by July 4th.
He got it done.
Now, look, I'm still a little nervous and fidgety about these tariffs, but you look
at just about every statistic.
One of the most important ones is consumer and business confidence is high right now,
and that means they're ready to really reinvest in America.
So, I love this picture.
It's an economic miracle.
Stephen, what stood out to me, the kind of bookends of this week?
You have this artificial intelligence energy event in western Pennsylvania, and then you
have the Genius Act signing to create a framework for stablecoins.
This isn't about today.
This isn't about political victories.
This is about laying the foundation for literally the future for generations in America.
And it also reverses what Joe Biden and his cronies did to crush the crypto industry,
destroy founders and their families in crypto, and to crush artificial intelligence.
Marc Andreessen was told in the White House a little more than a year ago by Biden's handlers,
we're only going to have two or three AI firms.
We're going to tell you, we're going to regulate you.
You will not have any new, any startups, any new AI companies.
We will control it.
You won't.
This is a complete reversal, and it's our future.
So you're exactly right in your analysis there, Dagan.
And I would say that also, you know, if you look back over the last 30 years,
one of the most remarkable things is the United States has come to totally dominate,
globally dominate the Internet age with great companies from Apple to Amazon to Google.
And we completely dominated that.
And what Trump is saying, and I love this story, you know what?
We're going to dominate the next technological age, which is robotics, artificial intelligence,
bioengineering, all of these things.
And, you know, if we do that, no country can touch us.
I want to mention something else, if I may, Dagan, that Trump did this week.
He's doing so much, it's hard to keep track of these.
But I love the idea that he's now going to allow 401k plans to own private companies
and private equity and so on, which will expand the rate of return on 401k plans
and make a lot of Americans rich.
I mean, I can't keep up with the guy.
That's the problem, Dagan.
You know, Stephen, the word that comes to mind is integration and vertical integration,
energy and AI transmission to point of use, all of this coming together.
And I'm telling you, I'm working with Kudlow.
I'm going to get you to the tariff strategy.
But that vertical integration, to Dagan's point about the future, it has to work together.
So you're quite right about that.
There's no way that we could have been in a position to lead in those artificial intelligence
robotics.
They use enormous amounts of energy, three times more energy than the Internet age increased
energy demand.
Does anybody in their right mind think we could meet those demands with solar panels
and windmills?
Well, Joe Biden thought that.
So we've got a president who's now all in on oil, gas, coal, nuclear power, whatever
we can do to finance this.
We're going to need a lot of data centers.
We're going to need a lot of better transmission lines.
We're going to need pipelines.
The whole infrastructure, Trump is all in on that.
I mean, this is a president who, look, I'm not with him all the time on terrorists, but
just about everything he's doing, amazing.
By the way, I've been in this town for 40 years.
I've been waiting for us to get rid of some government programs.
Just in the last week, he's rolled back financing.
He's got rid of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the USAID, all this stuff we've
been trying to get rid of for 40 years, and now it's gone.
But I don't think that Joe Biden and company thought that AI would be powered with wind
and solar.
They had no intention of allowing AI to flourish.
Again, the quote to Marc Andreessen was, you guys think you can start companies and write
code and release code on the Internet?
Those days are over.
That was our future, is government control.
But we need you to set the record straight, please, sir.
A new survey shows that voters are falling for the Democrats' big, beautiful law lies.
64% of Americans believe the big, beautiful law primarily benefits the wealthy.
51% thinks it will hurt the middle class.
And 61% of people think it will harm the poor.
It is the exact opposite, Steve.
Set them straight.
Yeah, the average family, you're right, we do a great job with policy.
Sometimes we don't do a great job of marketing what we do.
And you're right, the Democrats are very good at that because they have the fake media that's
echoing everything they say every minute of the day.
Thank God for Fox and Fox Business.
But if you look at the, I'll just give you one statistic.
The average family would have been paying $2,500 a year more in federal taxes.
I'm talking the middle class there, Dagan.
$2,500 a year more in taxes next year and the year after and the year after if we had
not passed this bill.
After four years of Biden, I don't think they're in any shape to pay more taxes.
Well, I'm going to keep working on you on the strategy.
We've been working together a long time.
I'm a free trade guy.
I'm with you, but we got to get there, Stephen.
We'll keep unleashing prosperity.
Trump keeps unleashing American economic power.
I love that.
Thank you, Steve Moore.
Thank you, guys.
