SpaceX revealed New Fueling Trick for Starship Flight 10 Static Fire! Starbase Testing Ramp Up...
Relentless in its pursuit, SpaceX pushes forward, adding the final pieces to Pad A’s ever-evolving test system. A trial is near—closer than ever—its breath felt on the winds of Starbase.
At the same time, the faithful Falcon 9 has soared once more, marking a milestone etched in the sky.
And beyond Earth, Lockheed Martin unveils a bold new vision to bring Mars’ secrets home.
The journey continues—on today’s episode of Great SpaceX.

Preparations for the long-awaited return of Starship operations continue to move forward with growing momentum. At Starbase, a flurry of activity is building toward what could soon be another major milestone. In one of the more notable recent developments, SpaceX successfully installed the Ship Quick Disconnect (QD) frame atop the Booster QD cover. Shortly afterward, a new hole was cut into the bottom portion of the Booster QD, allowing for the installation of a fresh pipe system. This pipe appears to be integrated into the existing Booster QD network, likely designed to facilitate cryogenic fuel transfer to the upper stage.

In the most recent updates, that new pipe system has reached completion. With the assistance of towering cranes and teams on the ground, SpaceX has begun attaching additional structural frames atop the OLM (Orbital Launch Mount). Judging by the configuration, these new components are meant to link with the previously installed QD frame, forming a cohesive extension that builds off the existing Booster QD structure.
Accompanying this newly added framework is an extended fuel pipe. This line continues from the previously installed segment and stretches upward, curving to align with the front face of the Booster QD—right where it will eventually interface with the Starship upper stage. Interestingly, the shape of the pipe curves neatly alongside the Ship QD frame and the original Booster QD geometry, suggesting a carefully engineered fit.
