All right, it's been about uh 3 months
since I've been skating these trucks,
the Lunar Lights. As I go around and
skate the rails, I'm going to give y'all
my initial thoughts on these trucks. Uh
I've been having a great time, honestly.
But let's get into the park sesh and
I'll talk about them as I go. So, I'm
going to give you a little bit of the
background of the trucks. The trucks are
Lunar Lights is a truck brand created by
Toot Hex, which normally focuses on
production for other brands. For years,
their customers mostly ordered standard
trucks since keeping prices low was
usually more important than pushing
performance. But 2x knew they had the
ability to create a truly high-end
prolevel component and they wanted to
prove it. Instead of waiting for
customer to step up and ask for
something better, they decided to launch
their own brand and build the best truck
they could imagine. They announced their
first truck model in 2020 and the
development process was openly showed on
Instagram from geeks to pros all giving
their take on what a perfect truck
should be from there. Multiple mold
revisions and they kept refining it. So
with that being said, it's extremely
lightweight, has slightly longer
wheelbase for a more control slide on
the base plate instead of the wheel.
includes inverted kingpins for better
grind clearance. It's forgiving on the
landings, so even if you don't land
perfectly centered, the trucks help keep
the board stable under your feet. So,
they're just getting started and they
have a lot to come for. So, that's a
little bit of the brand. Uh, I asked for
that stuff because I don't know none of
the background of his. So, hopefully you
enjoyed a little bit of the history.
Try the lights are about to turn off.
I guess I guess the park lights are long
on longer now. I didn't know. I thought
they turned off at 10:00.
So, I set these trucks up in April. And
since April, I've just been riding these
trucks. And I'll say right now, the fact
that these are light is something that I
like because one, I don't like heavy
trucks. I never have. And whenever I saw
back in the day Thunders first
introduced like their hollow lights, uh
that's all I wanted. And you can even
see right here, these have that feature.
So they have that hollow feeling, but
I'd say that these are even a bit
lighter than the Thunders. And not just
that, they turn so damn good. like it's
kind of hard to describe um how they
turn, but whenever I'm turning it's like
it doesn't really feel like I'm about a
power slide. It just starts turning. Uh
I I don't I don't know how to just
describe it. It just does it. It does
the thing. It does the thing I want it
to do, if you know what I mean. I don't
I don't really know how to talk about a
base plate, but I know that they had
included that inside their um whole uh
paragraph that they I I had asked for to
explain a little bit more of their
background. But as you can see, this is
pretty far. Uh I'm a guy that kind of
just really liked my trucks close to the
tail, but right here, you can see
there's a distance from it. But none of
that really had affected me. And just
now, like honestly, just now I am
noticing that that it is a bit away from
where I normally would have my truck.
So, it's pretty interesting. Um,
yeah, these trucks have been great to me
these past few months. Um, I I can
answer any questions in the comment
section if y'all have that. Uh, this is
just me saying like these trucks are
great and go check them out. I'mma leave
the description down below to their the
trucks if you want to get them or their
social media. Um, thank you all for
watching this and sonar till next
