Skatepark directions Boron skatepark: 26912 John St, Boron, CA 93516
California City skatepark: corner of Conklin Boulevard and California City Boulevard, California City, CA 93505
Out on Highway 58 there's a small desert town called Boron — and it has a skatepark. I went out to skate the Boron Community Skate Park: concrete park in the middle of the Mojave, green rails, painted ledges, and a bowl. After that session we kept the day going and skated California City Skatepark too. Two desert parks, one day. Thanks for watching.
Boron, California is in the middle of nowhere.
It's an hour 30 minutes away from Bakersfield.
I heard they got a new skate park
and two years ago the process started. So here's some of the
photos before it got built.
The skate park was awarded $618,000 and Hunger Skate Parks was the
one that was going to mainly fix the park
in collaboration with Cliffside and Less Valley
Concrete. What's interesting is I've seen
my friend skate this a few months back and it's
just saying that it got a grand opening last month September 18th
of this year 2026 so you already
know
I had
to go
out
in
the
middle
of
nowhere
and
just
get
my
session
on
skate
park
las
Vegas
close to Barstow come skate it a lot
of cool obstacles being to California City now for this
skate park good thing was California City skate park
was on the way back and not that far all right my
camera died so we're out here now we're
in California City this park is 20 30 minutes away
from Boron the one we were at honestly i just got done eating
a burrito i'm tired but i'm gonna push
through that and get my skate on that's why i grabbed the phone
and i started filming to make
sure that i know that i have to skateboard
so yeah look at this California City park i've only
been here once and it was a day that we got fried
because it was too hot today it's not that bad
i'm really excited um everything's looking fun
it does look like it needs a little bit of wax
he fell on a little rock right here
when he ollied the double set he's chilling though so let's warm
up and
finish
the
session
with
some
sick
tricks
thank
you so
much for
filming
oh thank
you for
the board i gotta get mine yeah
you got it switch front nose
is a hard trick okay should i quit on
it or should i keep going quit i think either way you did too
so it's not quitting you're just
trying to improve it
that's fine two back
to back
that was three i mean
that one you slid more
sometimes
when you're about
to give up it's the last one
that you're gonna make it
and you made
it i made it
i made it
so i at
least like
winches
but i still
did it it
is october
and it literally feels like it's july august
it's hot i think we've only been skating for like
40 minutes dude it feels like it 30 minutes
then benefit of the doubt 30 minutes feels crazy i
think i got a few more
tricks in me that's insane
because like it's a rail it's
not like a quarter
pipe or
anything
you know
yeah
the 180
manual
more more
more oh
yeah yes
sir oh
there
it goes
i'm sorry i didn't mean to say bitch i meant
to say you cool rich yeah rich the kid oh yeah thank
you bro the first time i came to this park i
was actually really scared to do the jam 50 50
today i did the jam 50 50 plus i did
the jam board slide lip slide whatever you want to call it this
thing is terrifying this is a longer rail going
up it's square dude this was dope this was dope
shout out to this rail for still being here i mean
yeah i mean i don't know what else is there to try
it's kind of hot the sun is going down we're an hour away from home
but we skated two new parks
i mean one new park today California City
and honestly it's crazy that Baron has this nice
beautiful green park the first park that's insane
if you're ever on your way to Las Vegas definitely
check that park out in California City
these two parks are kind of in the middle of nowhere
so some of the best parks make sure it's fresh
bring water stay hydrated thank you everyone for
watching and i'll see you in the next video
