Amazing & Beautiful Hokkaido Summer | Cape Kamui (Japan Travel)
A travel VLOG introducing Cape Kamui, one of the most stunning sightseeing spots in Hokkaido, Japan during summer.
Cape Kamui is about a 2–3 hour drive from Sapporo and offers spectacular views.
A well-maintained walking trail (about 30 minutes one way) leads to the tip of the cape, where you'll find a uniquely shaped rock called "Kamui-iwa."
From the trail, you can enjoy the beautiful coastline of the Shakotan Peninsula.
The sea here is known for its stunning "Shakotan Blue," featuring a striking gradient from emerald green to cobalt blue.
Cape Kamui is located near popular tourist destinations like Otaru and Yoichi.
If you're planning a trip to Hokkaido, we recommend including Cape Kamui in your itinerary alongside Otaru or Yoichi.
Please note that reaching Cape Kamui by public transportation is challenging, so joining a guided tour is highly recommended.
Also, keep in mind that the walking trail may be closed in bad weather for safety reasons.
