HUGE WIN at Happy Valley Horse Racing, Hong Kong

good morning guys welcome to another daily juice we're just at a little stop here right near our hotel getting some coffee and some breakfast and then we've been invited over to the Royal Hong Kong yacht club which is a little boat ride away from here and we're going to go and check that place out and I think we're going to be going on the boat as well and watching the race this morning so it's super excited it's a little bit rainy today hence a rain jacket but it's going to be clearing up later and this place does avocado so it's a good start of the [Music] day got the rain coats on this morning done that off to a York club today done that it's raining in Hong Kong done that we've stopped some breakfast before [Music] cool [Music] [Applause] [Music] that was very cool we just got taken out on the break water no one gets to go there we also just saw the only original Shoreline left in this area of Hong Kong that's that's crazy very very lucky we've been shown around by Coco who's worked here for 18 years who was the lady went for dinner with the other night one of Richard's good friends and it's China race week this week so it's the timing is great there's a race just about to start and she's getting us on a media boat with all the photographers and stuff so we're going out on the water we'll be with a couple other photographers that are like taking stuff for the actual club and we'll be on that boat with them uh we thought we were just going to be watching it from the land go off we're actually going to be in the action on a actal boat so cool Dan from scary road is going to go on the getting on are you getting on yeah 7 6 5 5 4 [Music] 3 that's a good spot isn't [Music] it wow cool got an exclusive toour here by C around the whole uh yach club and we' just been taking on to the roof and I'm guessing not everyone gets to come up they pretty down now [Music] that's we just had two tunnels the resturant the tour goes on we've been taken through all the kind of backways where they're building loads of new stuff here right close to the original tunnels from the 1800s we freshened up in the hotel for and we're back out we're meeting Richard again and we are going to the horse racing it's called Happy Valley uh it was normally on yesterday but it was call it day yesterday same mov today which is perfect timing for us it is and this be Garden so yes probably going it's probably going to be another one of them guys unfortunately it could be it could be this is the outfit I bought yesterday in H&M went for the ca orange skinny black jeans which is so weird to be wearing jeans so we' so we've arrived at the races and it's in the most incredible place if you look at it on Google Maps um just search Happy Valley Horse Racing Hong Kong and you can see exactly where is so it's right in the middle of loads of buildings which you can see here so without getting dizzy I'll try and do a little spin um obviously that's the stand apparently you can pay 100 quid or something and get a buffet dinner in there you have to dress up and stuff see the buildings all around we're down on the floor The Paddock is just here where the horses coming hopefully be able to show you that soon um and we're literally right on the track so cool I was telling Richard that I've only ever been to lingfield races in Sussex which is about 1% of the scale of this place thank you perfect oh lovely oh yeah it's lovely smart oh we do the gr thing then that's good replac this hair band with this hairand band got some ears just to match Lucy just to make her feel better behind Richard and Lucy have gone off to put some bets on so I'm just left here with these ears we're gone for some small bets to begin with hopefully we're feeling lucky horses are all getting ready to come out now hopefully [Music] get one side how much did you win doubled my money doubl my money 2 passing in the winnings thank you thank you very much 2 made $100 $100 Hong Kong so we actually won six out of eight races tonight we're only betting like 2£ 3£ maximum go uh but it meant that we came out winning and we're very happy with that we're going to go some more drinks now I think but we do have a very busy and full day tomorrow so um I don't know that doesn't stop it being a late night ahe does there actually he you [Music] [Applause] [Music] go [Music] [Applause] oh
