Watch This Video before you travel TAIPEI, TAIWAN!

Good morning guys, this is the main space video. We've shown you where we're staying and I'll show you the downstairs. I'm kind of showing you backwards. We came up here, we had a photo that said, um, that had a picture of like one of these silver, silver locks. You've got to put the key in here and then take your shoes off. It's just, it's really random. Like it doesn't have a photo. Oh, it looks lovely inside. It's an Airbnb. The outside's totally different. Yeah, Airbnb. They've created their own logo here, um, which is great. Let me show you downstairs. This is hilarious. We're wearing a new t-shirt today. In fact, we're both wearing our new t-shirts. We went to, if you saw the previous video, we went to such a cool little market and we found bargains. These were like less than five pounds, I think, something like that. No, yours was six. Mine was two. Oh yeah. Okay. So seven pounds for two t-shirts. No, no, no. Mine sounds better on the phone. Mine's two pounds. Okay. Lucy got the real bargain here. We are going to pick up a cup of coffee. Then we'll go for breakfast. We've got a nice place for breakfast planned. And then Lucy fancies duck today. We'll show you how else we get out of this place. It's a crazy building. So when we got here, we looked at this list and we were like, hmm, interesting. Everything here, well, none of it's in English. All the things in the wall. It looks similar to the pictures from outside the Airbnb. And I was thinking this isn't a door, so it can't be. It was very confusing. We were so confused. And this is what you see from the outside. So this locks. So when we first got dropped here at like late at night in a taxi and we saw this, we didn't expect it to be our Airbnb. So we couldn't get in. Three pound 50 for two good coffees. Honestly, if you come to Taipei, hunt down Bro's Coffee. Best coffee I've had for weeks and weeks and weeks. Honestly. I wouldn't say since traveling. Yeah, probably. It's so, so good. One day I want to film a video. How do you feel about this? Going around? Yeah. Tasting all the best coffee supposedly. We would be so high on caffeine by the end of that video. I don't think it'd be very good for our hearts. No, probably not actually. Found a cool place here for some food. We just walked into this place breakfast. They saw us, it's pretty much lunchtime now. They saw us vlogging. They were like, come downstairs. It's much cooler. There's some cool stuff. And now we're having a little private tour and we can sit down here for breakfast. Wow. That's amazing. Cool. Thank you very much. Yeah. So can we sit here? Awesome. That's crazy. Look, this is like someone's house. Thank you. Oh, amazing. Cool. Oh, that's good. So when we want to order, we just press this button. That's amazing. Is this not like the perfect setup? It's like on a flat. We actually should. We've got this background and there's no one here. That's amazing. How funny. I expected just like the same as upstairs, but with a few pictures on the walls. Yeah. This is cool. Just shows that you never know what you're going to find when you stumble into a place and get chatted to someone. Oh, okay. There's an iPad. We can put some, we can choose our music. They've got like a chilled playlist on. It's amazing. How did we not know about this place before? It's literally a 20 second walk from where we're staying. This is crazy. This can just be like a little work day. I can imagine us two sat on these ropes, can't you? That is better actually. That's nice. That's comfy. Right. Should we order? I don't know what I fancy. There's something here that sounds really good. Like I love every ingredient, but it has the word fried in and I feel like I've had too much fried recently. So fried chicken tic with wine tic, sesame oil tic and soy sauce tic. Wow. How nice. But I don't know what it is or if it comes with anything. It's supposed to be fried chicken drip and wine. I might get that. Does this fried chicken come with rice or anything? Yes. Cool. Thank you. What juice do you do? Today is kiwi juice or apple juice. Oh, I heard that the kiwi juice was good. Really? We read that online. It's supposed to be good. Cool. That and kiwi juice. Yeah. Perfect. Two of them, please. Yeah. Same. Same. Yes, please. Thank you so much. Thank you. Trying out a different lens today as well. If you can tell that the vlog looks a little bit different. We're trying out our, this is our 12 to 60 Leica lens. So it's got a bit of a zoom on it. And little treat for you all. If you're filming on something that has 4k capability, switch it on now. Yes, because we're back on, yeah, we're back on reliable internet. We're back on fast internet for the time being. And hopefully where we're going will be fast internet. So we're filming these vlogs now in 4k for the time being. We're going to try it for a couple of days. Obviously, it's a lot harder to upload and stuff. Yeah. It's slower to upload. It's slower to edit. It's slower to process, but we're underusing the capabilities of this camera. So we want to try and film in 4k. So hopefully the quality is really good. If you've got a 4k TV or monitor, flick us on 4k and enjoy seeing everything. All of our blemishes, all of my wrinkles, all of my gray hairs coming through in glorious, glorious 4k. So I know a load of you aren't interested in the tech, but also a load of you are. So this lens, the only thing, this isn't a wide angle lens. So this is as far zoomed out as we can go. Um, but check out this zoom. I'm going to zoom in on your eye loose and then focus there. So you can see it goes pretty zoomed in. Um, I've just put it on my Instagram to see if people would watch it in 4k. Comment below if you'd watch our vlogs in 4k. Cause when we first got this camera, we literally, every vlog was 4k, wasn't it? And then when we came away, um, it was getting harder to upload because you need a lot longer. And often we wouldn't have a lot longer. Um, but now we're a bit ahead on our editing. Good time to give it another go. Oh, cool. Cool. With cold as well. Is that kiwi juice? Nice. Oh, it smells like kiwis. I've never had it. That is so good. Why is that not a thing? I've never had a juiced kiwi. It just tastes of just kiwi. It doesn't taste like loads of other stuff and it's clearly just been made. It's really cold, but it's not mixed with ice, which is great. It's nice and smooth. That's so good. I love kiwi. I haven't had it in ages. Okay. I love kiwis. I've never had kiwi juice either. Does kiwi ever give you a funny itchy tongue? An itchy tongue? Like pineapple and kiwi, if I have too much of it, my tongue goes. Oh really? Comment below if you agree. That is so nice. It's really refreshing actually. Kiwi juice. It's a vibe. Look at this presentation here. This is nice. Came on like a slate and really nice heavy bowls. They look like a lampshade It's like nice chicken here. They've given us a little salad as well, which I might just plonk on top actually. This is really nice. It's affordable. It's not expensive. About £5 a meal and you get this treatment. This is underpriced. Okay, let's try some of this. A bit of chicken, some rice and a chilli. That is amazing. That tastes like just really nice chicken in sauces. So I'm really bad with food because I can never explain it very well. There's a mushroom in there. It's like a dark sauce. Uranium guys, if you're visiting, ask to sit downstairs. So we've just realised that another place we want to go is a 10 minute walk away from here, which is really, really good. So we are off now to an underground mall and it's supposed to be absolutely huge. It runs underground between two train stations and yeah, and apparently the shopping can be cheaper than what we've seen in the markets. So I'm looking forward to this. This should be quite cool. it's all like closed in and there's shops everywhere. That's crazy. That is actually insane. Yeah. We sometimes like to do impressions of different YouTubers and George is quite good at it. I've just thought of one. It's of George from the Juicy Vlog. That's crazy. Wow. Oh shut up. I get excited. This is actually mental. Wow. I've never seen anything like this. That's the new word. Mental. Actually no, I say mental quite a lot. This is great. This is, I think it helps that it is Christmassy, but honestly, like it's absolutely massive under here. You'd never know this was underground unless you look down those steps. It just looks like an underground shop. It's part of a station. Right. Let's find some shops. We're not particularly looking for anything. We just want to have a wander down here, see what they sell. I can see some, a phone case shop, a shop that looks like WH Smith. There was jewellery back there. We're going to have a wander around. Handbags, jewellery, soft toys, loads of different food. We're going to wander this way because it seems to go on forever. Yankee candle just in time for Christmas. You can literally get like a score from underneath here. Like it's so random. Filled with regret or no? Always take the stairs. Always take the escalator. That mall was so weird. Like it felt strange that we were at a very early dinner or kind of a late lunch. I think something for very long. We're heading there now. It's again, it's not too far. I feel like you could get Ubers all these drives, but we were trying to walk a bit just as better exercise for that. So heading there now and it should be good. Okay, here we are. It's more expensive than we thought. It's about £30 for a duck, but it's £15 each. We didn't get an Uber here. We worked hard to get here as well. When we, when we were downstairs, the guy was like, are you looking for the duck? And we were like, yeah. He's like, are you reserved? And we were like, no. And he was like, oh. We walked up here and they pointed to a list of reservations and they were like, is that you? And we were like, no. But we got here. We got a table. They squeezed us in. So I think we're going to have to go for it. So we somehow got to eat that whole duck between us. The guy was like, you said it comes with 12 pancakes. That should do us. I have no idea how we're going to finish this. Do you recommend a way? You show us? Yeah, thanks. Cool. So this guy's going to show us properly how to make the pancake. Lovely. Thank you. Try the first one. Really? Thank you. Thank you. So if you've never seen an English person make a duck pancake the way they do in restaurants at home, I'm going to show you now. It's very different to what you just did. So we have normally like a little teaspoon, but we'll use this instead for this. Normally quite a generous amount, personally. Do one of these. Then normally we have cucumber and spring onion, but I'm going to put two spring onions in as we've only got that today. Like that. And then normally the duck's shredded up and we have a fork and a spoon and kind of do this in front of you. They don't slice it. So normally you get like a chunk of both like the skin and the actual duck all kind of together. But here we've just got them separately. And like I said, the duck is so much nicer. Like the flavor's amazing. Then you roll it up like this. There you go. An English person rolls a pancake. Yum. And the pancakes are like cooked fresh. In England they must be frozen. Oh my god, yeah. These are amazing. These are like, look here, they're like actual thick, they're all different shapes and stuff. They're actual thick pancakes that have been cooked for We did it. I feel like I've got an entire duck inside of me. You pretty much do. We ate all the duck. We left all the skin. We ate the duck. That's quite a good effort I think.
