Game Over! What China just did Shocked SpaceX&Elon...
SpaceX was the first to redefine the space race, an industry known for being insanely expensive, with missions costing billions every single year.
By creating reusable vehicles like the Dragon capsule, the Falcon rockets, and now Starship, they didn’t just slash costs, they found a way to turn space into serious profit.
Of course, it didn’t take long for China to pay attention.
They soon began developing rockets based on Elon Musk-inspired technology, not just to compete, but to eventually surpass the U.S.
And just recently, that ambition became even clearer:
Chinese company LandSpace made a bold move with their rocket, ZhuQue-3. A move that could force global space players to start taking them seriously.
So, what exactly did they just do?
And why could ZhuQue-3 become a serious threat to the space race?
Let’s break down on today’s episode of Alpha Tech.

In the U.S., we have SpaceX, the biggest private space company, hands down. And even though they found success early on, SpaceX is still growing at a pace that’s honestly hard to believe.
But over in China, there’s a company often seen as a kind of “mini SpaceX.” Same dream, same ambition, just on a smaller scale. And right now, it’s considered the country’s leading private space firm. It’s LandSpace.
LandSpace is now seen as one of the most promising space startups in China.
What’s even more fascinating? They’re incredibly young, founded in June 2015 by three very different, but undeniably talented men.
Their story brings back memories of a young Elon Musk, juggling everything himself inside a cramped warehouse in El Segundo, California, which was once the main office of SpaceX.

Unlike Musk, who had to figure everything out on his own, the three engineers who founded LandSpace were a bit more fortunate.
They came together right in Beijing, more specifically, in a district called Haidian.
Now, for those who don’t know, Haidian is basically China’s version of Silicon Valley. It's the heart of innovation and technology in the country, and of course, the capital city itself.
This area has become a hotbed for space startups in China, so naturally, LandSpace had a much smoother starting point compared to SpaceX’s early warehouse days.
To put things into perspective, just three years after being founded, LandSpace successfully built and launched its very first rocket: the Zhuque-1. It was a solid-fueled launch vehicle.
