Two pretty giant looking hot dogs. Think you get some chips too. Most importantly, you get a shirt. Yeah, you know me. Love a good winner's t-shirt. How many toppings? Four toppings. Four hot toppings. Cheese, bacon, onions. Cooked onions, they're caramelized, so they're sweet. Yeah, that's perfect. I love sweet. Can I choose a second cheese or no? Yes, you can. I'll go with the Swiss. Sounds good. As long as the business has been going for about 23 years. 23 years it's been going. Wow. Adam, your challenge awaits. You get 20 minutes to eat this? You got 20 minutes to eat this. You're welcome to cut this up and prepare however you would like. I will get the timer ready in the meantime, get your drink ready, go to the bathroom, wash your hands. Welcome back to another episode, the first in yet another journey of conquest throughout the United States of very excited people. We're kicking off today at Doogies in Connecticut, which was apparently featured on that show, Man V Food, like 15 years ago or something. And we're having a pop at this four foot hot dog challenge. Also comes with fries and a drink, which you do incidentally have to finish. Good luck, man. Oh, thank you. You did tell me. You did tell me it'd be the bread. He did. He also told me to avoid the jalapenos when picking the toppings. So I think he's got my health and well-being in mind, which is always nice. You have to pick four toppings from the menu. I went with two types of cheese, American and Swiss, caramelized onions and bacon. And I grabbed a root beer as my mandatory beverage. Yeah, the lady filming on the phone there is clearly today's cheer master. She did a great job as well. I'm sure I like I picked some up. I'm sure I did. Need somebody to turn me off and back on again. One down. The onions was a perfect choice. I think I think that was my idea, right? Or was that your idea? That was my idea. I could take credit for that. No way. Yeah, you know me. It's not often that I get the tactics right, but I nailed the toppings here. The caramelized onions were a fine accompaniment. I love sweet and salty, so it worked a treat. Just past 14 minutes. Yeah, I think the mild look of panic in my eyes there was because I thought momentarily that 14 minutes had elapsed. What she was actually saying is there are 14 minutes remaining. He's got this though. He's got this. He's still got the fries though. You sound like you don't believe I'm going to do it. I believe you're going to do it. Surprise. This is really delicious, by the way. Yeah, not off. I've never really been a huge fan of hot dogs, truth be told, but I really enjoyed this one. Or two, to be more accurate. Got to clean up a little bit. If you're filming me, I've got to be nice and clean. You say that the fries are going to get me? Don't slow down.
