BEAUTIFUL Green Jungle in City! Manila’s Longest Urban Park

something that he's never seen before and i came here for a run the other day it's really cool it's quite unusual and unexpected i guess because this is like a city this is like a built up city yes there's patches of green but i did not expect to be finding this in the middle of bgc so follow me [Music] yeah lucy came for a run here early morning she surprised me left me in bed got up really early and came out for a run and she was like george i found this really nice kind of green park area again let's cross thank you very much and it's a beautiful day here today we've had last couple of days it's supposed to be rainy season but oh is it this way i thought it was that way i don't know if you could it's his park closed there so i think we need to go in the other way cool there's look there's some there's sunday morning yoga going on in the park there that's awesome that's so cool another reason i love this city it's very very modern isn't it yeah so i haven't seen this at all but lucy checked out part of the running track but apparently it goes like what it is oh sorry reveal it's not that big a river it's so cool it is cool it goes all the way along the golf course yeah it's not just a running track guys it's the longest active park that's true in manila so that's a huge i guess it means metro manila is in like huge manila guys that is verified by google itself the other day i accessed it from this point and i thought it'd be like kind of tiny and you can only get into it one way but like there's different ways i don't know i think it's really cool it's like you've got these huge loads and loads and loads of apartment buildings all along by burger circle and it just sits between that and the golf course so it's just like an unusual bit of an unusual find i thought so that's why i wanted to show george and also bring you guys along today because maybe i'll motivate george to get back into his running who knows yeah true i wanted to thank the sponsor of vlogs regularly you know why we love this area so much but the greenness like all through the high street all around these streets and stuff the greenery of this area is oh yeah look this way to greenway is crazy we've traveled a lot of big cities in asia and i have to say i guess only only singapore kind of rivals the greenness right because they try and bring the trees in but this is probably more green i don't know i mean i think bgc is obviously smaller than the whole of singapore so in terms of like the amount of green per building space i think this was really green i just love them coconut trees is it me comment below if you agree coconut trees just make me feel like i'm on a beach it makes me feel like i'm it's summer and i'm on holiday oh we missed that so follow me [Music] wow so one thing you have to be careful of is this is like a running track we're idiots walking around vlogging it so we need to make sure we don't get in the way everyone's morning right now okay good we won't disturb anyone so basically look at the plane sorry yeah it's also a great plane spotting spot wow we've been on so many planes air travel hasn't been a stranger to us over the last couple of years as you guys know but whatever why's your voice gone so deep yeah i don't know whenever i see a plane in the sky it's my place i don't know [Music] helicopter we run from the other side of the room i don't know maybe children anyway so basically i don't know the exact measurements i'll put it on screen here for how many kilometers this is but it's like kind of cool there's lots of different things to see on the route i'm probably making a big deal of this but i don't know it made me really excited because i've just knocked in this for so long so there's nice lights like that go along all the way um and then it's like different things there's a little park that's currently closed but you can kind of see in it a little bit with the most amazing tree that looks like it comes off the film avatar if you guys know what i mean i'm obsessed with off of someone coming then um i love the film avatar and it reminds me of that it's really cool and they're currently doing some work to it because it's not it's now sunday but i was here on like friday or something and there were loads of like gardeners in making it look all beautiful and planting plants and you've got this like bamboo fence up here that backs onto the golf course so this way you can see the golf course a little bit i'll show you later but this way it kind of goes straight up to like mckinley way you know that roundabout we just out with the people doing yoga yeah this part back onto that is this the avatar i never knew this would say i'll be totally honest with you avatar trees later i think so in quarantine we've really been enjoying the day they said we could go out more than one person for exercise well listen i've been pretty much going out for a walk every single day but we always walk through the city through the streets past the shops which is great i love it i love the atmosphere and i love that area but this is i think this is gonna wow this is gonna be my new walk location i think it's insane [Music] national plant of the philippines [Music] and here it is the most incredible tree i've ever seen with all these vines coming down i'm obsessed with it so cool lucy's favorite movie fun fact avatar so good wow and this looks like the tree where they have all the stuff underneath it i can't remember the name of this the russell rock always an instagram opportunity i've got a cool photo of lucy here oh where did i go so cool with the tree there nice guys if not following on instagrams we'll pop it in here so we've actually turned around now the wind's picked up a little bit today but as you can see i think it's like a gap as you can see from this view this is actually downhill so this would be a really good sprinting track coming up here on an incline and it looks really downhill it's so hard running off it but the run down is good because i ran all the way to the end before and it was like when you're running down it's almost maybe it's a bit too steep because you're like trying to hold yourself and not like run too fast and be like two out of breath with the mask on it anyway running with a mask so hard but um we're now at the furthest point this way and now we're gonna take a walk all the way to the other end are you ready yeah [Applause] [Music] so here they've actually got a sign beware of golf balls don't joke about that and as you can see here they've got these green nets all the way along because just over here i can't quite show you not tall enough but further down there's a little really that is the golf course just across there so when we were moving to bgc and looking at his apartment options one of the bellagio buildings we had did we see two in them yeah one of them did we i don't remember the second one i can only remember the one that was really it was like the 45th floor or 54th floor and it had this view of the golf course and it literally made me feel a bit sick the view because it's so high and there weren't buildings in front of it so it just looked so vast and the golf course was so far away so it was like too high can't do that but it was so cool listen to the crickets as well so loud okay i reckon we can get a little shot of the golf course if i can get over here yeah there it is nice okay i'm coming back so this is where we first came in we've just walked all the way up there and now it carries on this way as well oh dear more cats this one looks a bit weird it's like an elf it's ears [Music] yeah they get fed you know i said earlier don't worry about crossing that river to get the view because like it opens up you didn't have to do it okay here is a better view of the golf course and you've got like a little block of buildings here like a few high rises it just looks so cool i think this is the biggest golf course in manila as well i think yeah it must be wow don't disturb it with your loud noise will you look a tree cat i want to cry what's it doing up there oh my god come over here and look up it's hilarious so cute it's found its spot for the day this cat is having a great sunday that's hilarious [Music] so that has been the perfect sunday morning stroll it's so hot that's lovely it'd be lovely to do like really early or really like yeah like it's sunday or sunday oh yeah so this here is the official end of the park you should walk there right oh we should technically yeah this is also where all the bgc buses park which is quite cool it's so cool i love it it's a good discovery good discovery it means that you can go for a walk like you said you can go for a walk without having to stop for traffic lights yeah it's peaceful it's quiet in the city but all i can do is like crickets chirping insane guys we're gonna leave this video here we just wanted to show you
