#Nature #Arctic #Churchill #Manitoba #wonder
The small town of Churchill is an unassuming place amidst this hustle and bustle of a world. It is Canada’s only main port on the Arctic Ocean, and it is linked to the rest of the country only by the Hudson Bay Railway and by airplane.
While the shorelines of the Churchill River Estuary and Hudson Bay are always a sight to behold, the timing of your visit will determine what type of wonders you will see—polar bears, beluga whales, northern lights—or all of the above.
📍 Churchill is located on Treaty 5 territory.
We are excited to share an incredible documentary series that features seven of Manitoba’s most outstanding sites.
Each site was selected for its unique natural features, geological history, or the wildlife that inhabits it. The series inspires a sense of awe and appreciation for Manitoba’s beauty—we hope it does for you too!
