Add in tales of hauntings, unexplained events, and the mysterious Bell Island Boom of 1978, and there’s an undeniable sense of intrigue here. We came to explore the island’s rugged landscapes, uncover its past, and see for ourselves why Bell Island continues to capture the imagination. This destination wasn't originally on our radar until running into a local one morning who'd mentioned the Island and the old tunnels that we could explore.
