Night Time Drive around MANILA BAYWALK! Surprised This Feels Like UK

Good evening guys. Welcome to a Halloween special. I'm joking, it's not Halloween. When even is Halloween? The 31st of October. I'm only, is it? Yeah. What, this year? Is that? I'm only saying that. It's always that year. Is it? It's always that each year. It's the same, yeah. It's like Christmas. I'm only saying that because it kind of looks spooky for the star of today's vlog. But we thought we'd do a bit of a different video today guys because it has been raining all day. All day, like non-stop. But it's been quite convenient for us. We had about five or six videos to edit. Yeah. And we've just spent the whole day editing, thumbnails. It's been crazy. Title writing, um, other stuff. I felt like I haven't, like both of us were just glued. Why are you holding your cup like that? I'm not sure. Both of us were just glued to screens all day. So we've come out this evening for a drive just to cool down a little bit. Not cool down temperature, but just like unwind a little bit. That's annoying and noisy while the camera's on. We've still got the Maxus G50 for the next couple of days. So we thought, we haven't gone out today because it's been raining. We've been doing so much work, but we thought tonight we've got the car. We can stay warm. We can stay dry. We can go for a drive. There's a area we want to just drive around tonight and bring you guys along. It's going to be like cozy and nice. And we've also got, I've got a hot chocolate here, which is made from 100% dark chocolate, like a block of it. And then with some almond milk and I use a steam wand on the coffee machine to heat the milk up, which also melts the chocolate. And it's so good. Try some. Yeah. And I, why am I feeding you? I thought you'd take it. Good, right? It's not. It's nice. Well, I think if you told someone, your average person that that was a hot chocolate, they would be like, what are you talking about? Because it's very like unsweet. You've trained yourself to drink that. I don't like sugar. It's nice. Um, I've got a, this is an basically an extract of a, something that grows and it's put through an immense amount of pressure in a machine and then milk's added to it. It's called coffee. And I'm having a coffee very late. Is it our car? No, it's next door. We haven't done that. We've somehow set the alarm off on the car next to us. I don't know how we've done that. Anyway, rambling intro. Welcome to the vlog. So thanks for clicking on the video. Late night coffee it is. Late night drive. Well, it's like six o'clock, but that is late night these days. 6.30. You set my world on fire. I don't know what I'd do without you. Something that we said recently that we really miss is having a seafront and a promenade to walk on. This is better than I was expecting. We've never been here. Isn't this cozy? We said the other day, didn't we? Wish you guys could see this better. Let's come back in a day. Or do you think it gets really busy? But look over here. Like it's such a cool view. It's so nice. This is basically, you can't see it, but this is the Manila Bay, uh, water edge exactly here all the way along. You've got all the trees, the nice palm trees here. And it's just really cool. And this is like a jogging track all the way down here. So in the UK, we live by the beach and going for a walk on the seafront, going for a run on the seafront. What are you doing? We live in the UK. We live right by the water's edge. We live right on the coast. We live right by the beach and both, we both grew up like a five minute walk from the beach. So going for like a walk or a jog along a promenade, it's something that we've said, we've missed like being by a water's edge. We've always lived by the beach. We've always had the coastline near us growing up. So we live in the South of England and it's something that I've really missed really. I love living in a big city, but I have missed not having the water right by us. So now this is here. We paid 50 pesos for parking and it's a really nice area just to come down. We could come here and jog. For sunset maybe. Oh my God. Yeah. Sunset's just behind us here. It's not even busy. No, it's not. I wonder if it gets busy, but we could grab some food. We could just come for a walk along the promenade. I think we should do this scene in the daytime. We'll try and get some better shots and we'll try and show you this a little bit because it just looks like Lucy's in the dark. I know. I'm like saying how amazing it is, but you can see here. What's that? Is that like butter? That's just boats. Is it? I think so. No way. I know there's something over there, but there are a ton of boats. Are these boats? It's amazing. Well, yeah, we'll try and get some better shots, but I mean, there's something about it coming at nighttime. It's beautiful with all the lights and stuff, but I think I'd like to see it in the day too. Okay guys, we decided to get the big camera because we wanted to show you this properly and the rain has slightly stopped. So hopefully it's a bit brighter around us now. Actually it is too bright. How nice is this? So nice. We might find somewhere to eat. Yeah, maybe. Because we're kind of hungry. I know exactly what Lucy means now. If you've seen any of our UK vlogs in our hometown, you might've seen us walk along a seafront where like our friends and family go running on a Saturday morning and it's very, like this is the closest thing we have in Manila in the Philippines to that. There's even like a wall here. This is like where my dad walks our dogs and they run up on the wall. It's like eerily similar. There's even a wheel. That's like Brighton. I don't know, Worthing? Yeah, Worthing has a wheel now. This is kind of weird. Like if I could kind of just about imagine we're at home, which is a nice feeling, but this is such a long stretch. If we get bikes ever, or even if we just want to come for a jog, we can literally jog down this whole way here. And I can't tell you how different this feels to the other kind of area of Manila Bay that we were in the other day for those other vlogs. There's hardly anyone here. You can't hear any traffic. No traffic. There's no beeping of any horns. The loudest thing here is us vlogging basically, put it that way. I'm so glad we discovered this, you know. Same. I think we'll be here a lot now. Very good point. We're trying to figure out what we can see in the distance. I think, I think I'm right. I think Five Fingers is over there, like Bataam, but it feels too close to be that. Unless, no. Yeah, it must be. Look, we're here. That's the next bit of land. Marivelas. It's kind of around the corner, so it's not quite Marivelas, but it's more like, I mean, it's definitely Bataam.
