WE ARE LEAVING MANILA

guys what is lucy doing it looks like she's packing a bag oh my god are you leaving i'm leaving you're coming with me am i off all right that's fine then good morning guys welcome to the vlog hope you guys are all doing well it is sunday morning in metro manila for us we're here in bgc but not for long because today we're off on a little adventure and for the very very first time since quarantine so since march what's that eight or nine months a long time we are leaving manila oops that was bad uh so before so we are heading out today out of bdc out of metro manila we're heading first to alabama which is i believe still in metro manila we're gonna grab some coffee we might grab a little snack from our favorite little cafe bungalow and george is doing a happy dance because i suggested getting snacks sounds good and obviously we've got the car now so we're making the most out of it and then we're heading actually out of metro manila today so it's going to be super exciting i keep thinking it's not the first time because we had that vlog where we went on a vacation but we went to our swimming pool and in my head i'm like oh i've been on a vacation because that's what quarantine's like because obviously there's been some changes in the restrictions now so it's really exciting the idea that we can maybe start to do a little day trip or maybe a night away at some point in the future so things are looking up and we're super excited to be taking you guys with us on our first trip out of manila today um we're all ready to go the suitcases so one rucksack are packed up the towel is on the door and we can now leave guys we also for the first time have packed the drone so if there's drone shots in this vlog great what does it work what's the drone it's this like flying camera i know it sounds like i know i know it sounds like something cameras don't fly sounds like something from the future but it's like this flying camera that we used to have in like 2019 really yeah yeah and you basically fly it with the remote you're joking you're joking film stuff sounds crazy i know i don't know what that is i've never heard of a drone i've never seen a drone but maybe maybe we'll see one later quick update on this you guys know that in a vlog recently you saw us unpacking and popping a weighted blanket i say popping that's the dress it's light it's the heaviest thing ever i think it's 20 pounds it's a weighted blanket and i said that i'd do a few nights sleep in it and we'll let you know in the vlogs how we're finding it from a company called the blankery and we love it i don't i can't imagine not having it now it feels like a hug it feels like an overall body hug and we just wake up feeling great in the mornings we feel relaxed it's such a nice feeling isn't it i had my first afternoon nap in years in the daytime because of this thing we've been really tired from working out yeah a little bit exhausted and i just got under this and just had instantly fell asleep had a little 30 minute nap the other day so i highly recommend it's a yes from us so if you struggle with sleeping or anything i don't know maybe you could try one out uh but also yeah i was gonna say we wake up in the mornings now we don't feel like we can't get out of bed because we've had such a good sleep we can just get straight out of bed so i think anyone could try it i don't think it's for anyone in particular i think it'd be good for anyone to try so anyway enough blabbing on very achy from the gym still let's head for i've said this like four times let's go hey darling can i tell you what's been on my mind sick and tired of the nine to five in the city hey darling [Music] we could get out of town see the beautiful world around wanna see it now first up this morning coffee and potentially a pastry so normally when we come here we don't go crazy on the pastry fronts but today is our rest day from the gym and we feel like picking up a couple of pastries because they are renowned for it here hi can we please get two cortados one hummus toast one lemon bar a brown butter chocolate chip and one croissant instagram photo let me show you this side this is way more than we would usually have for ourselves but we have the chocolate cookie the lemon george your fingers in every one of them pictures sorry okay the lemon buy is so good i feel like lemony things lemon um what's the lemon drizzle cake wow that looks unreal wow anyway distracted i feel like lemon things are underrated i feel like people get chocolate or vanilla all the time lemon it's a flavor doesn't get enough credit so glad we have this thing [Music] flaky baby don't you understand hey we've just hopped into the car we are now actually driving to enchanted kingdom yay but as always guys you're not going to see that in this video we are going to film a whole video because we want to film a whole video at inside the kingdom because it's our first time going there yeah but i've just stuck my head out the window there is a insane lineup of some nice supercars along here i think they do like a supercar sunday here in alabang as well i don't think we've ever been here early on a sunday so we've never seen this but it's so cool and just like that we are out of metro manila this is the first time for months and months it feels kind of the same as the road we were just done before actually but the fact that we've actually left manila is crazy and we're well on our way to enchanted kingdom i think freedom i think we'll be there in about half an hour from now it has just started raining unfortunately so hopefully it clears up a bit it's looking a little bit gray and i think there are scheduled thunderstorms today as always at the moment did you see that no what was it i didn't quite catch it hoping to get onto some more scenic road soon we're just on s-lex at the moment which as lovely as it is as a road it's nice and smooth and it gets you there very fast uh because of how much of a straight line it is but we love when we do road trips the winding roads and the beautiful scenery and stuff i mean already here we're seeing we haven't seen in a while like actual fields of farm land and like people's crops and little streams and plants discovering yeah and we haven't yet had a chance to drive jose or that's the name of our car by the way if you missed the vlog where we announced the name jose we are cruising along in jose today um but we haven't had a chance to drive jose on some like twisty roads here and the three series the handling and the cornering on these cars is ridiculous it's so so flat so lovely to drive so i really want to find some nice twisty roads to uh enjoy the car a little bit more definitely hopefully we'll i don't think there's any checkpoints between where we've come from where we're going we haven't seen any yet but i believe it's kind of quite an easy straight route and we don't need any like travel documents or anything to go where we're going um i think you need that kind of stuff to go to takaya time we're not going that far today we're just going to laguna um in santa rosa so he's actually not that far from manila i mean the doing alabang in the middle has kind of broken the journey up a little bit and but yeah we're coming off in a few kilometers and then i guess i guess we'll pick this vlog back up later once we finish the entirety kingdom i think so we'll see you guys very soon but for now we're just gonna enjoy these roads [Music] okay it's now many hours later we ended up spending about five or six hours at enchanted kingdom we had the best day this vlog will probably went on first i'm not sure which way around we're uploading these videos so maybe you've already seen it maybe it's coming tomorrow night so if it's going tomorrow night get your notifications turned on who knows what time we'll upload it we never have a schedule for upload times that's why notifications are so important on this channel and we're just driving right now it's super crazy there's a bit of congestion where you're saying it's about 12 minutes of traffic jams and then we'll hopefully get on the skyway and head back over to bgc but it's been it's been raining all day guys it's been super wet our feet are soaked through my trainers are like squelching as i walk and but it didn't stop anything it didn't it didn't stop us smiling it didn't stop us having fun it didn't stop us doing any of the rides we just did the rides anyway and just got wet it didn't really matter we don't mind getting wet we don't mind the rain it doesn't bother us i think we're going to have a snack when did i bring snacks oh please tell me you did i think you bought like a protein bar yeah in the bag in the camera bag i think so i saw you actually i put it in there it's in the seat i'll get it okay so you're gonna enjoy this little birthday cake protein bar it's not just about taking unfortunately you've had enough cake today oh yeah you saw the vlog already i had i did have a cupcake oh my god and we had them bars and cookies earlier as well sunday is officially cheat day then apparently oh well that was good fun back in the gym tomorrow morning yes back to five days a week we're in the gym at the moment and we're feeling good for it so i'm looking i'm really i i'm like craving going to the gym like if it was open on a sunday i'd be there today i really feel like going george's yawning theme parks make you tired i always feel a bit sick and headachy and tired after theme parks uh what's that it's like a fridge or something in the back of someone's pickup look how high it is classic and something like it's like a barbecue or something or a grill taking their career or down to the beach it's gonna be nice but i think we're gonna end this video off here i'm not sure what's happening today sunday evening i don't want to make a thumbnail for tonight's vlog um but i don't think we'll do anything else really it's already five o'clock oh we're gonna watch boar at two oh yeah four out two is out we haven't watched it we love the first one it's quite funny i i'm wondering though if it's gonna be very different because it was that was made years ago and some of the humor might not be so pc these days but let's see what they've done before too true yeah so
