ALABANG Has BEST FILIPINO SHOPPING MALL at Christmas?!

Hi guys, welcome back to a brand new video. You might remember a few weeks ago we spoke about a company who sponsored the vlog, Wondershare, with their product Democreator. So I can put that in. I can then resize it if I want to rotate, make them bigger, make them smaller. So there's so many different ways you can use it, especially people working at home. Welcome to another video, another vlogmas, another daily juice, another juicy vlog, another George and Lucy special. Welcome back to the channel. We are in Alabama and this is the first time we've been to this mall in our own car in Jose. And around Christmas. And around Christmas, we wanted to come back to this area. We were in the area. If you saw our video visiting the chocolate factory, we, this is the same day. This is the second half of that day. We were in the area of Alabama. You guys know, we like Alabama a lot. We came to festival mall once before and we really liked it, but it wasn't Christmas. So we wanted to come back today to see if they've got any Christmas shenanigans going on. If they got their decorations up. I mean, if I'm being honest, slightly underwhelmed from the outside decoration, the car park, we can't really see anything Christmassy, but it looks like a big block of building. The magic will be inside. I agree. I'm then trying to persuade Lucy to let us go to bungalow for a little coffee after our mall trip. It's not that I don't want to go. It's that we have a lot to do today, George. No, we're busy. We're busy people, guys. December has been a hectic for us so far. I feel like there's not enough time in any day. I love it. I love being busy. I love having stuff to do, but every day we are full on. We are. We're trying to still keep our workouts strong. We're vlogging every day. We're editing every day. We're uploading every day. We're trying to do reaction videos. We've got a load going on with brands. So it's super great to be so busy and we're very grateful for that, but- I would say it's 100% the busiest month of the year. I think it's our busiest month ever. It probably is our busiest ever. Oh, please mind my car. Her handbag's already on the car. Does anyone else get nervous when people start opening their car doors next to you? I'd rather not be here. I'd rather not be here. Okay, we're good. No, we're not good. He said us to get in. I was some cool Christmassy stuff. I'm really hoping so. And yeah, let's have a little bit of an alabang afternoon. Let's switch to the vlog clips where you can't hear us because we're in shields. Yes. Are you ready for that? A rainy, rainy, rainy day today. Okay. This is what we were looking for. Look at this huge tree. They've actually done it really nicely along here. All the decorations going on, but this tree, pretty impressive. This actually looks so nice, doesn't it? So nice. It's a little Christmas market, so you can buy like Christmas presents there. Huge Christmas tree. Pretty impressive. It kind of looks real. You think it's real? I doubt it. I doubt it, but I don't know if it looks, it looks smaller in the camera, but it's actually huge. It nearly touches the ceiling. Lights all the way around here. Oh, they've done it really well. Can we get one of these for the apartment? Why not? We're doing it. We're going to bungalow, but I think according to Google maps, they close at five. I don't know if we're going to bungalow. I'm so tired, George. I have not had enough coffee today. I'm so tired. We are both down on coffee. We are both down on food, but we're up in shoes. We ended up buying a pair of shoes each. Actually, why am I still wearing this mask? I didn't buy a pair of shoes. It looks like a beard. Oh no, Lucy bought two. Shut up. Lucy couldn't decide between these two pairs of trainers or sneakers. But the price of both of mine is the same as the price of one of yours. We spent the same. So Lucy got both because she couldn't decide. And then I got one new pair of sneakers, but that mall was so festive. No, it's Festive Mall. Oh, nice. Do you know the turning you're looking for? No. All right, keep going. It's nearly on the right up here. Did I get the right lane? Oh, it stopped. Yeah, get in the right lane. Let's look out for it. But we're pretty sure, we're pretty sure Bungalow closes at seven, not five. I mean, it's only 20 past four and I've been telling myself I'm going to get the chicken burger for the last few hours. But you spent so long in Reebok. I spent too long in Reebok. Maybe slow down if it is. I don't know. This has genuinely just stopped working. Like, no internet. Lucy's behind the wheel, cruising. Cruising along. The BMWs just feel so natural to you because you used to work there. Oh, yeah. It's like second nature. I could get into any BMW, any model, any year and I'd be so comfortable. I could just drive it like easy. Don't worry about it. Any other model, I might have to take some time to figure it out. But I feel like any BMW, I just get them. I get all the buttons, I know what it all means. One minute away. Yeah, up here, over the main road and then right. Yeah, already ordered. It's an absolute nightmare. It's half good, half bad. Do you want the good news or the bad? Good news is we have a table and we're in. Bad news is kitchen's closed, so I can't have the chicken burger. Just means I'll have to order a chicken shake shack burger tonight. Lucy doesn't know about that yet. We're having a little snack here, a little coffee, a little sit down. Thank you so much. We've both got DOMS, which I can't remember what it stands for. It's the achy muscles that you get after you've been working out in the gym. Today's our DOMS here. Delayed onset muscle soreness. We've had three solid days in the gym and then Thursday's our rest day. So this is the day where we're achy and we're tired and miserable. No, I'm joking at all. I just had a really good idea. What? Oh my God. We also were doing errands today and we had some, well our toilets weren't working. This is such a negative quote. I'm really sorry about this. It's not negative. It's real life. It's real life. It's not all glamorous. It's not. Our light bulbs in our bathroom have stopped working, so I need to buy two more. And the flush of our toilets, we press the flush down and it doesn't flush. We have to put our hand inside the system of the toilet, unclip it and pull up the whole thing to flush every time we use the toilet. So, sorry if that's too much information. Sorry if anyone in the restaurant there maybe heard that. But yeah, we did a crazy festival shopping. Replacement part purchased. Do you know what I feel like? Champagne. Thank you. In fairness, this is a good compromise. Ham and cheese croissant. Okay, we just got back. Traffic was okay. It wasn't too bad. Jordan is currently editing tonight's vlog. It's going a little bit later. It's already seven o'clock, so it's a little bit delayed, but it's all good. We don't really have a set time we upload videos. As you know, if you watch the videos every day, sometimes it'll be at 4pm, sometimes it'll be 9pm, or somewhere in between, so who knows. But I just thought we'd quickly show you what we actually picked up today. We were in the mall, as you saw. So Christmassy, so nice. We honestly love seeing the malls at Christmas here in the Philippines. We love Philippine malls anyway for so many reasons. The air conditioning, how many amazing shops there are in most of them. They're always much bigger than the shopping malls we're used to. In our hometown in the UK, we don't actually have a shopping mall in the UK. In the town we live in, we have to travel to one, as we said before in the vlog, so it's always good for us to go and explore malls. And they're just especially amazing around Christmastime because of the effort that gets put into all the decorations, and there's always the sales and stuff, so it's really, really cool. In keeping with that, we did a little bit of sale shopping today. We haven't actually bought any clothes for a little while now. Actually, that's a lie. George has. I haven't bought clothes in a long time, and I went to H&M and saw so many things I liked. Suddenly, all my kind of things were just there, so I was very tempted. And the prices were pretty good today, so I thought we'd quickly show you guys some of the items we picked up. So I got this top, which I really like the fact that it kind of goes down like this. It almost looks like a corset kind of style top, and it's this like black shiny material. I don't know if I'll wear it with these shorts. I'm not too sure if it goes, but I'm just wearing them as well just to show you. I got these pamel coloured shorts with a little rope belt with a little buckle there. I like the little pockets here. They look kind of like cargo pant style. Yeah, I really like them. Then I got these trousers here, which are like flared at the bottom, and they're kind of tight around my thighs, and they're a kind of soft material. The lighting's really bad in here. I don't know what's going on. Can't see it here. Like almost pyjama-y material in this like light pink colour, and it'll go with this top I got as well. Like high neck, and it's got like a seam running down the middle. It kind of reminds me of like what like a masseuse would wear. I don't know what. I don't know if anyone knows what I mean, like the high neck and like the line down the middle. Maybe I'm going crazy, but let me know if you agree. And I also got this same shirt in this colour, which I also like. It's sort of a bluey-greeny light colour. It's also really thin, so it's perfect. Even though it's a high neck, it kind of reminds me like of Christmas and like the festive season and wrapping up, but it's nice and thin, so it's perfect for Philippines heat when we live in Manila. It's always super hot here. So I really, really like these two t-shirts. Then I got an high neck, blue, long sleeve cropped t-shirt. Again, I don't think it'd go with these, but it would go with some jeans or some shorts I've got. Again, it feels kind of Christmassy, but it's not too thick. And this is in the sale. I think this was only like 300 pesos, which is really good. And then I got this super simple, for 199 pesos, really cheap, this like basic strapless little top hair that I can just throw on with some jeans or something. I really like this colour as well. And then I got this like shiny brown little crop top as well. Again, throw it on with some like creamy coloured jeans or something, gold jewellery. I think it's just really nice and lightweight. And I could also layer this up with like, I don't know, this, for example, I could layer it up and wear the brown over the blue. It could look cool, a bit different. I do like layering things up, as you guys know. Then I picked up a little clear hair clip because I really enjoy wearing these at the moment in my hair. I find it gives me less of a headache putting my hair up in this than if I use like a hairband. And then I went into Reebok and found a couple of pairs of shoes. So these here are like chunky with the navy blue, the red and the white. Really like how these look. A little bit vintage retro style. And then same in here. I think these were only around 2000 each, which is really good. They're both in the sale. I really like the fact that it's kind of a nudey colour. And again, super lightweight, both really comfortable to wear. And yeah, really happy with my purchases today. George also picked up a few pairs of socks from one of the little markets in the mall and some new trousers. We've got these here, which are like a kind of pinstripe dark grey from H&M and then the same exact trousers, but in a different pattern, this lighter grey colour. And then George's massive trainers. I love these. So nice. With like white and off-white colours with a little Reebok logo here. I don't know, Reebok's making a comeback for me. I'm really liking their stuff in there. So very cool. OK, whilst on the topic of showing you guys things, a company called Hello Beach Babies on Instagram, they sell bikinis and swimwear and stuff. And I mean, I don't know when I'm next going to be wearing a bikini. I need to find somewhere to wear one too soon. But they basically sent me four pieces. I'll quickly show you them now. So we have this one here, which is like a cow print, I think. Is this cow? No, it's like a tie-dye. It looks like a cow print to me. Maybe it's just tie-dye. Really nice string on each side. And it's just like a triangle with a tiny little bit of padding in. I really like this one, really like the colouring as well. Then the next one is in my all-time favourite colour, like an emerald-y colour. High-waisted bikini bottoms with little ties on the shoulders. And then it's just like very simple, really lightweight, this one. And then we've got this like leopard-y, leopard-patterned one here with like pink little leopard spots. And I really like that it's got little details here with like a silver ring. You can see that properly. And lastly, there's this white, also high-waisted. Where's my light gone? I had a nice light shining on me, I've put it away. This very nice white high-waisted bikini. I feel like if Marilyn Monroe brought out a bikini, this would be it. Alright. What do you think? Do you not agree? Alright. You're comparing yourself to the legendary Marilyn Monroe. I'm not comparing myself to her, I'm comparing my outfit to her.
