We Didn't Think This Would Happen So Soon...

So this secret we keep telling you about that we can never reveal... Why do YouTubers do this? Today we are actually going to be revealing what we've been working on for the past... Actually, to be fair, it hasn't been very long. I feel like normally with this kind of thing, it's like I've been working on it for the past year and we've been working on it for about four days. We are going to head out now in the car. We're going to drive to a little rooftop bar that we keep going to at the moment. We've found it's like a little office space for us in a way. We'll just order a drink or some food and we find we're really productive when we're out of our apartment. We're going to head there. We're going to do a little bit of more behind-the-scenes work for the project and then, of course, we're going to tell you guys what it is. So it's something we're very excited for. It's something that I think a lot of you guys will enjoy and I'm just really excited to reveal it because it's something new. It's a new thing for the coming year. It's an idea we've only had recently, but I think there's endless possibilities with it. So it's a bit of an exciting one. So if you are new around here, please hit that subscribe button. So it's Saturday. Saturday for us means sometimes we take a chilled weekend. Sometimes we take a worky weekend. Sometimes we take a busy weekend. Today, productive Saturday. We're excited to get going. We've had this new idea for a project we're going to talk about in this video. And today we're putting in a little bit of work for it, which is fun. So let's hop in Jose. Let's go to our secret little office spot. It's not an office at all, but we're kind of, as Lucy said, if you get out of the house, if you've got something to do, if you get out of the house, that's why we used to love working in coffee shops and things like that. Often, you're there for only one purpose. So you can get a lot more done. That is my top tip. Wow, it's so hard to put a ring on with one hand. Hi, good afternoon. Going to the rooftop? Yes, please. Okay, so we've arrived at our favorite little spot. This is, if you've seen the vlogs recently, we've been coming here like... Most weeks. We come here quite a lot actually. Sometimes we just have a drink at the rooftop bar, which is just out there. But today we kind of have ourselves a little office, kind of workstation. Really good here for vlogging as well because there's a lot of natural light and a really, really nice view, really nice view across here of the city as well. Hey. Also, the manager here is a legend and he knows us from the videos. And for the last two times we've come here... Three times actually, I think. Yeah, he has bought us gin and tonics. Or is it sparkling water? I'm not sure, you'll find out. Yeah, it's gin. That's definitely gin and tonics. We were actually drinking last night, so dry Jan's really going very well. Definitely. Huge thank you for that. Okay, guys, we're going to tell you now. This is different for us. We've just filmed a little introduction video for our secret project. And we're going to tell you guys now because we think this background is so beautiful at the Cedar Rooftop Hotel. Is that what it's called? It's Straight Up Bar. Straight Up Bar, yeah. And we've actually filmed a little intro, so we thought we'd do the announcement in the same place because it looks so nice. I mean, this is a hint of what the project is. Kind of is, yeah. Kind of is. The whole thing behind us. So Lucy and I decided we're starting a... Stick to what we know. We're starting a brand new YouTube channel, but it's going to be purely based around property. So we're going to be doing some luxury property tours and taking you guys with us. Yeah, you're speaking like you're on the intro now. Well... We did this like professionally. Whoops, that didn't happen. The vlog is still going to be like behind the scenes. We'll leave all that in, but we tried to do like a professional intro. You guys can check it out. So there's already one video. There's going to be actually a video coming very soon to that channel because we've got our first property tour that we're going to film tomorrow. And it's an epic development of this unbelievably cool looking place. So we're already really excited. So yeah, this is like a project that has only come to our minds in the last couple of weeks. Came about because if you guys watch our vlogs regularly, you've seen us drive around the Ayala Heights. That was insane. And so many people, so many of you guys were interested in that. The video's got a lot of attention, a lot of comments, a lot of discussions coming out of it. Obviously, you've been following the journey of us buying our own condo, and we want to show renovating that, and a lot of you are excited for that. So we wanted to do more videos based around property. Yeah, it's something we find so interesting, and it's something that even maybe you might be looking to buy a condo and these videos will be interested, or buy a house or an investment property. But it's also for people like us that really enjoy watching videos about tours and seeing behind some of these beautiful looking places, because you don't normally get the chance to go inside unless you're looking to buy. So we're going to be basically taking you guys on these tours with us. It'll be our genuine reactions. We're not going to try and sell you anything. We're not going to be paid to say what we're saying. We're not going to be exclusive to one developer. We're going to be really natural, really real. We just want to see some cool places. Yeah, and give you our honest reaction and what we think of the property that we go and see. It kind of came out of during lockdown, we got so obsessed with property. We've kind of developed a bit of a passion for property, interiors, that kind of thing. We're really enjoying it. We're so excited about it. We know that not everyone is interested on it, so that's why we're not doing it on the Juicy Vlog. Yeah, and they're going to be very specific videos to each property. It's not going to be like Vlog style. It's going to be like a property tour. The whole video will be a property tour. We're going to show you, say for example, if it's a condo and it's got a beautiful swimming pool, or if it's got, I don't know, something special, something unique, an epic view, or maybe it'll be that we go to like a more of a model home and we show you around that and how it can look. There's so many possibilities. We were just saying in the intro video that actually we've already got about 20 prop... Was it 20 or 30 I said? I think we've nearly got 30. Yeah, we've got nearly 30 properties already lined up because we've been talking with loads of real estate agents and different developers, people that can basically tour us around these places. So we've already got a lot lined up. So there's a lot of exciting ones coming. Like we said, we're going to go tour one tomorrow, which is stunning. And we're going to leave an email address. We've got a special dedicated email address for this new channel. So if you are a real estate agent or someone with a really cool house or property that you want us to come and tour, then send us an email with some details, with some links and pictures, and we'll do our best to get back to you. And that's going to be how we kind of find these cool properties. So we've actually got a lot of work to do whenever you launch something new. There's a lot of behind the scenes stuff. We're actually going to try and document it on this channel, which will be fun. So we need to make some channel art for the new YouTube channel. We need to create the new inbox for the email address. We need to kind of... We've actually been in contact with a lot of agents and people like that already. And we've got our first properties lined up, as Lucy was saying. So we're almost good to go. It means more editing for us, more workload, but we're very, very excited. I don't know, it feels like a bit of a new chapter and just a new project, guys. That's why I'm wearing this today. It's only an idea we had a few days ago and we're just doing it. We're not hesitating. We're not saying, should we do it? It might not work. We might not enjoy it. It's just something we want to do, try out and have fun with. So we would so encourage you guys to do the same. If you had these ideas for the new year and you haven't yet started, just start. Go to your local coffee shop. Go to your rooftop bar. Staying home. If you're in lockdown, just get in your living room. Go in your bathroom. Why not? Change up, change your area. We've got the picture we actually took here the other day and it's all black and white. That's the kind of theme. That's the vibe we're going for. Yeah. I actually should mention that it's a good tip that Canva, C-A-N-V-A dot com is actually quite a good easy way if you're starting new creative projects. Not sponsored but it's a website that we do use occasionally. Often we'll start kind of from scratch in Photoshop but this time we kind of wanted to get going quicker and there's some cool kind of ideas and templates on there. So if you're starting new creative projects, YouTube channels, they've got like all sorts of social media content and it's free as well so you can might be useful for some of you guys. I'm not doing a brand of camera. Lucy is devouring the margarita. Is it good here? It's good. I love the tomato here. The pizza here is surprisingly good. I don't know, I feel like sometimes hotel food is good but this was a bit extra good, doesn't it? It's just incredibly cheesy. Yeah. Very, very cheesy. Actually quite fun to document the behind the scenes of setting something new up like this because we don't often do that. We only go into detail of when we're setting things up. We've had to create a new mailbox.
